While tlze tabulation was made by t r ac t s fo r these 7 c i t i e s , no imnlodia,'co us@ was made of the figurea except for NOW York City and POT S t . Lonis.

Tlie 1920 cellsus data were l ikewir ;~ Ln'bulated by t r a c t s f o r the same 1ia.t of cibies. The f i g ~ ~ r o s fo r New Yorlc wore tdcen off shorkly a f t e r the completion of tho tabula"cjon, and were publishod by Dr. Laid- law. 111 1925, Dr. Er l~est W. 3iiurgess bocx~ia i n t a r e s t ed i n the Chicago t r ac t t ~ b u l a t i o n s and made arraigemoilts f o r 2;dciiig o f f the f igures f o r both 1920 and 1910, These f igures were published i n 1931, 132 1926, M r . Howard Whipple Green made arrailgetilcnts bo obtain tho t r a c t tabula- t ions f o r CleveTancl, obtaining the data lilcowise f o r both 1920 and 1910, and supplemeating '%lie t r a c t f imrcs POX t bc c i t y of Cleveland with ce r ta in data f o r adjacent areas.
