BALL GAME

We will pass the ball around the classroom Wherever your right thumb lands is the

phrase you will read and act out If the person acts out the phrase correctly,

we will give them snaps, if not they will pass the ball to the next person

FLY SWATTER GAME

Two at a time (I will draw names from the cup) you will come to the board and take a fly swatter

The board is covered with many different Spanish phrases

I will say a phrase in English, and you will try to beat the other person to hit it with your swatter

If time allows we will also play the Spanish version

Teach someone in your household at least 5 classroom phrases in Spanish (they can be funny or useful!)

Make sure to practice the correct pronunciation!

On a piece of paper write down the phrases and have them sign that you taught them how to say those phrases

Each person needs a copy of the green “Frases Útiles” page to go in the front of your binder Keep it in your binder for a reference Make sure to use the Spanish to ask questions in

class Everyone will stand up for our activity

I will read the Spanish phrase out loud, then we will all repeat it and try to act it out- we want them to hear us in French class!
