• If you began reading the story (pages 38 – 46) think about you read by browsing each page.
• This strategy will jog your memory about where key or relevant events of the story are located.

• Helps the reader understand the relationships between the characters.
• It is completed by using EVIDENCE from the text.
• Becomes a major understanding tool when reading longer works.
• Strategy to use when reading longer works in future course work (lifetime application).
Character’s Chart
• In my Netschool, I have uploaded the Character’s Chart.
• You need to access Netschool, locate the chart, click on it and “save as.”
• In this window, write your name – Character Chart.• Save it to your class folder.• Open the chart.• On the top, it should say your name – Character Chart.• If you are not able to download it, let me know and I
will upload it to your computer from my flash drive.
