I find this to be a lovely sunset image. The colors are nice. The exposure is well done. The reflections do not stand out much so the image is more about the sunset than it is about the reflections. As the special subject here is reflections I would like to see more emphasis on the reflections.

Page 3: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I get the feeling of fall in this image. The reflections stand out well to me. I think the exposure is well done. For me there is to much sky. I think you could crop off some of the top. It feels off balance to me as well with all the weight on one side. It needs something to balance it.

Page 4: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I do see the reflections as a main part of this image. I feel that the exposure is well done. You could try cropping more off the top and getting more of the reflection in the image. For me, I would like to see the tree top in the reflection.

Page 5: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I enjoy the beautiful fall colors and the soft reflections in the water. Exposure and focus look good to me. I would crop a little off the sky.

Page 6: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

The reflection is a major part of the image so I can clearly see it as the special subject. The flower seems to be sharp to me. The exposure looks good to me. You could crop down more from the top to make the image a square format and possibly clone out the leaf that is cropped off.

Page 7: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like the deep blue water against the white of the snowy egret. I can see detail in the whites and there is movement in the water as the bird walks along looking for food. The only thing I would suggest is to crop a little off the top.

This is a nice pictorial image of the lily in the pond. I’m not getting the feeling of the reflections as the large pad in front blocks the view of the reflections. Since reflections are the special subject I need to see them.

Page 10: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I feel that this image does fulfill the reflection requirment. The flower and its reflection are the story. The image is a little underexposed for me. It is dark and a bit flat. I would add some contrast and crop off the bottom to make more of a square format. You might also try a path blur filter to show the reflection as more of a reflection. Give it a little different look than the flower itself.

Page 11: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like the concept of this image. The orange stands out well from the wall. The image in the mirror lacks interest for me. I would like to see the complete hand and foot form in the mirror and do not really need to see the doors.

Page 12: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Looks like a quiet spot by a lake or river. I see a large rock in front and some reflections in the water but I do not see strong reflections and am not sure where I am supposed to look. You could try cropping off part of the front rock and part of the left side of the image. Darken the highlights in the background. Maybe try a vignette to get focus on the reflections.

Page 13: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

This is a good reflection of the cormorant. It shows the bird flying over water which is what these birds do. To me the image lacks impact. It could use something like a fish in the birds mouth.

Page 14: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Nice that you caught the reflection in the building. The curves and clouds add interest. The lightpost is very distracting. You could move to a different position to avoid that or try photo-shopping it out.

Page 15: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like the way the flowers are arranged in the bottle and this bottle works well with the flowers. The dark background and table help keep my eyes on the subject. I would like to see the reflection pop out more. Maybe try more contrast or shooting from a different direction to get focus more on the reflection part of the image.

Page 16: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Nice reflection of the boat in the water. Image looks in focus to me and exposure looks good. I would like to see a little more of the reflection rather than having the boat and reflection split 1/2 the image.

Page 17: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I do like the scene that you have mirrored in the mirror. It is an interesting place to put a mirror. To get more of the reflection I would crop in closer to the mirror.

Page 18: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I can see the reflections of the sky. I like that the people are silhouettes. Reflections is the special subject so should be the main subject in the image. To help put more emphasis on the reflections you could crop off some of the sky.

Page 19: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I think this is a beautiful reflection of the purple lily. The lily seems to be sharp and the reflection is definetly part of the subject matter to me. In my opinion, you could crop off some of the top to get in closer to the lily. I also think that a little more contrast could help the image pop a bit more.

Page 20: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like the lighting in this image. The reflections show up nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the image , get close to the small tree. Also try cropping off the left of the image closer to the tree at the end and get rid of the line on the lower edge. This creates a square format and, I think, puts more emphasis on where the story is.

Page 21: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like that the reflection has more room than the fireworks, taking up more than 1/2 the image. The colors pop nicely so for me there is impact to the image and I know the story. It might add a little more impact to the reflection if you darken the top section to bring down the highlights.

Page 22: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

This, to me, is a beautiful image of the egret in the sunrise with its reflection in the water. It has impact for me and tells a story. As a pictorial image it is fine the way it is. For the specail subject of reflections you could crop in and make it a vertical image, cropping off from behind the bird and a little in front.

Page 23: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

The image looks sharp to me. I like that it is in black and white. It is a little difficult for me to tell what I am supposed to look at. You could try cropping to the one reflection on the right. To me this would help with the impact of the image. Crop some off the top to get in closer to the wood.

Page 25: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like the reflections. Color, exposure and focus look good to me. The gap on the right distracts me. I don't think you need that part of the image. You could try cropping off before the gap and cropping off the top down to the top of the last tree.

Page 26: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like that the subject is cropped in close. I also like the angle of the shot. It looks in focus to me. As the reflection is the main subject I would like to see the whole reflection.

Page 27: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like that this is cropped in nice and close. Image is in focus and it looks sharp to me. You could try adding a little contrast to the reflection to help bring the eyes to it.

Page 28: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

To me this is a very nice pictorail image. I like the background and the subject looks sharp. To me the reflections do not stand out that strong and the off color of the strawberries is a little off-putting. I would like to see more of the reflection and a little more detail in the shadows.

Page 29: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I think this is nicely done. It is a reflection and the reflection is the star of the image. I see enough of the mirror to understand that it is a reflection. I like that the mirror is at an angle. I think it could use more of a center of interest. I would like to see less trees in the background more of the person. The background right behind the person is distracting. Try using a different aperture to blur the background.

Page 30: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

The subject is very interesting. The reflection is very clear. You could try upping the contrast a little.

Good exposure. Interesting patterns on the rocks. The climbers are caught at somewhat odd angles. The top one looks headless. The lower climber looks like there is a rope holding him down rather than one helping him climb and the driftwood in front distracts me. It seems out of place.

Page 33: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

The colors are nice and I like the clean background. The flowers do not look sharp to me. I think cropping in closer to the front flower would give the image more impact. You could also give it a little more contrast.

Page 34: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Image looks sharp and has good depth of field. It is hard for me to see what the subject is. You could crop off the top and bottom, maybe even a little of the left side to make a square format. This would help, I think, to make the flower stand out more.

Page 35: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Looks like a european country. The red jacket on the driver works well. The image feels awkward. Horses have no room to move forward. I think this would work better as a horizontal image with more room in front.

Page 36: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Depth of field looks good. There is a nice reflection in the pond. To me the part of the image on the right is distracting. I would crop in closer to the house. Also try croppin a little off the top and bottom. Leave a little more room on the left. This creates a balance in the image.

Page 37: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like the composition and the exposure looks good. Not sure why but the image feels like it is moving a little. Could be your shutter speed wasn’t fast enough but it seems there is a slight shake. There is also a little bit of a tilt.

Page 38: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

This is an interesting walkway. Good pattern shot. Exposure and depth of field are well done. I think the tree distracts from it. Maybe shooting from an unblocked area would help.

Page 39: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Nice action in the shot. Small adjustment, get more base, less top. Could use a denoise program on this. Major adjustment - There was obvious cloning done on the image. Foot on one bird is very effident and parts of the background. Make sure you double check your work.

Page 40: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

The colors are nice and the clouds in the sky add interest. To me, the rocks sticking out of the water are distracting. I would try cloning those out. Also the boat is the lightest part of the image and distracts me. I would try spotting that out. You could also crop off the sky down to the top of the tallest tree and crop a little off the bottom as well.

Page 41: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Depth of field looks nice on this. Exposure looks good. I would crop in closer to the house. Crop up to the tree on the left and crop off a little top and bottom.

I like that the image is in focus. It is good that the chair is white as this helps it stand out. In order to get more impact I think you could try getting more of the bottom of the chair as well as its shadow. This, to me, is where the story is.

Page 43: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

The focus looks good on this. I can see water and beach so the title fits. I am not really sure what I am looking at. I think getting in close to one area would help or try shooting from a different angle so the wood doesn't get cropped off.

Page 44: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Nice capture of the swan and baby. Good exposure and the image looks sharp. Nature is tough. There is a plant blocking part of the swans beak that is distracting to me. Since this is open you could clone to fix that. In Nature you could not.

Page 45: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like the colors and composition. I think the exposure is well done. Not always possible I do feel that head shots are better than butt shots. You could try cropping off the top a little.

Page 46: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Nice sharp image with good action. I would like to see the expression of the surfer in this one and it is a little dark for that. His position on the board is a little awkward. I think waiting just a second or 2 longer would have gotten the shot in a better position.

Page 47: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I like this in black and white. The exposure is good. I would like to see just a little cropped off the top.

This image works well centered. It looks sharp and the exposure looks good. The bushes in front distract me. You could try cropping in from all sides and lighten the statue.

Page 49: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

I believe this is a pier, not a bridge. The colors are lovely, to me and I like the composition. As this is open you could spot or clone out the light post and the post.

Page 50: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Nicely done. All the elements work well together and the tower is not cropped off. The white house is a bit distracting. It looks like you didn't have an option to get around that. For open you could clone or spot that out. The rock sticking out on the lower portion is also distracting to me.

Page 51: Tidelands Photography Club - SimpleSitedoccdn.simplesite.com/d/88/eb/283445305953676168...nicely and look like a main part of the image to me. I would crop off the right side of the

Nice sharp image. Well exposed. The face of the bird is the main subject. I would crop off the sides, mostly the left side, to make this more of a vertical shot.

Very well done, I think. Bird is sharp, its position shows action. Composition works and I like the black background.

I feel that the expsure and depth of field are well done. I like that this is done in black and white.

I like the muted colors on this. Great that you caught the fire in the canon. Composition looks good to me.

This image works well centered. The surfer is dark but that also works in this image. He looks sharp.

Image looks nice and sharp to me. Exposure looks good. I like that you cropped in close.
