What Are the Requirements for NEBA Participation?

To work with NEBA and access their self-employment supports available, you must: • Be eligible for the Ticket program

• Work with a NEBA instructor

• Have a business idea that’s been evaluated and is likely to succeed, according to NEBA’s standards

• Exhibit commitment to NEBA’s program requirements

• Have access to a computer and Microsoft Office

How Many People Has NEBA Served?

Since 2009:

• 492 beneficiaries have participated in the program

• 144 plans have been completed

• Beneficiaries served in 40 states and Puerto Rico

• 28 former beneficiaries no longer receive Social Security benefits
