Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I've been married for 34 years this summer to my husband/law partner. We have had a small legal practice together for about 25 years. Our youngest son joined the practice 2 years ago, and are we ever glad to have him here!All of my children have gone into service professions. Two are social workers, one is an attorney, one is a court co-ordinator, and our youngest is about to start her final year of college in elementary education/special ed.We live in a tiny town in southwest Iowa, but travel pretty regularly to various tropical locations. Several Westside friends in Phoenix area, so thankful for all the years we have all lived there. We get together often to watch NU Football games and play golf. Great support system! Worked for over 25 years in Lodging and Gaming side of National Accounts for both Sara Lee and Nestle. Met my wife Heidi in 1986 and have a great family. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: After high school I went on to college at UNL. There I had a fairly typical college experience learning to balance social life, studying and becoming an adult. After graduating in engineering, I thought I would end up in the midwest region but I was pleasantly surprised when I got a job in the oil & gas industry in southern California. I enjoyed the myself a lot in those years but soon found that my industry had ups and downs. I decided make a change and ended up moving to Texas, apparently because I like sweating. Houston is a very diverse place and it has been interesting experience.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Dartmouth '80, UNL Law '83. Blessed to have a great family and a fun job. Still go to some WHS football, hoops, and baseball games (son Max was on WHS state championship baseball team in '06). Active in the community, particularly where there is an intersection of education/kids/sports/inner city. Was in NYC on 9/11 and saw WTC collapse - our generation's Pearl Harbor. Thankful for WHS, a great education, great family and friends, and good health.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I graduated from UNO with a BS in Elementary Education in 1980 but that must not have been my calling. I then started working at UNMC where I took an interest in medical billing. I have worked the last 27 years for an Anesthesiology group and I just love it. In high school I hung out in the Math IMC and I don't know why. I didn't like math. A couple of my favorite teachers were Mr Andreas and Mr Herring. I would like to travel more. Favorite places to visit at Lake Tahoe and Grand Teton National Park. Bucket list is going to Alaska to see the Northern Lights and Ireland/Scotland.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Jan passed away 10/2/14 from multiple battles with cancer. She is missed by family, many friends and others. After graduating from Westside, she entered U.N.O. and studied Broadcasting for a year but knew Finance was her calling. She graduated from U.N.O. with a business degree and also gained her Master's from Creighton University in Business Finance and Portfolio Management. Along the way she met her future husband at KOIL Radio in 1974. They were married in 1979 and spent 35 wonderful years together before her passing. The family enjoyed trips to see family members in Nevada and Florida.

Gary & I had an early 'midlife crisis' and moved to Florida in 1995. 7 1/2 years later, we came 'home'. Something special about Omaha, and it's people that keep us here. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I graduated KU in 1980 and moved to Dallas, Texas. Met my future husband at Fast-Tax and got married in 1983. Two weeks later, I became a CPA. We moved to Coppell in 1984 and been here ever since. After leaving my last job in 2006, I started to travel a bit more, mostly with my dad. Went on a land-sea tour from Alaska to Vancouver in 2011 during the hottest summer that North Texas had ever experienced. Retirement keeps me busy with family, Pomeranians, Boy Scouts and DAR.

Moved back to Nebraska 2 years later to go to Nursing school. Got married in 1981 and moved to Connecticut so my husband could get a Masters. Back to Lincoln 2 years after that and have been at the same hospital since then in various departments. My husband is currently working in Boston on a 3 year project and would like to stay there. I want to stay here and not start over again. We will see what happens. My kids live in Lincoln but no grandchildren yet.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: My job provided travel to a variety of places including Riyadh Saudi Arabia and Quito Ecuador and more exotic places like Buffalo NY. Favorite family vacations were a bus tour in the UK and trip to Southern California - sea world, disney etc.Currently playing bass and guitar in an old guy band. I am the second oldest and it is hard to get the guys 15 yrs younger than I excited about playing music from the best era (70s). The crowd responds well to the old stuff.I get to play acoustic guitar every Sunday at our second service at church which I really enjoy.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I lived in Nebraska for only three years, (74-76) and must say my WHS experience was phenomenal. I had many friends and we did many things (some stories modified over the years) and I think I learned a few things from school too! Enjoyed connecting with many friends!Glad Matt & I are cleared of the rodent escapade during graduation. Recalled Skoog calling up to my Dad asleep in the bedroom at 2am, Hey George I'm here! Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Covered many memorable events at venues around the country and met many notable people during ten years as a television sportscaster...loved following Nebraska football! Enjoy living in a beach community and have had widespread travels with my family. Also appreciate solo adventure travels in various national and international locations...good excuse to work at becoming a better photographer. Love getting outdoors and am always up for the latest adventure.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I've been border to border and coast to coast, with 25 years in Mexico. I think that I speak decent Spanish (Mexican lexicon) today - it's about time! Was able to pursue and earn a masters degree from Thunderbird, a long time goal of mine. Life has been interesting and fulfilling - with its share of trials and tribulations. I'm thankful for being from Nebraska, for the many friends I've made along the way, the experiences I've had and the loves of my life - Perla, Christian and Alan.
