2018 BELMONT STAKES FESTIVAL OF RACING
Belmont Park is the final stop on the arduous test that is the Triple Crown. The country’s best 3-year-olds meet each year in the Grade 1, $1.5 million Belmont Stakes, the centerpiece of the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival set for June 7-9. The 1 ½-mile “Test of the Champion” is one of the world’s most prestigious races regardless of circumstances. When a Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner lines up in pursuit of a Triple Crown – racing’s most elusive prize – the Belmont Stakes becomes an event unparalleled in sports.
Fans that are lucky enough to join us this year will witness history, as 2018 will mark the 150th running of the Belmont Stakes. By the time the 150th champion is crowned on Saturday, June 9, guests will have been treated to the very best in thoroughbred racing alongside world-class entertainment amid the premium hospitality options described in the pages ahead.
Since 1919, when Sir Barton became the first Triple Crown winner, 35 horses have been eligible to enter their names into racing lore, with only a dozen succeeding. The prestigious list includes some of the best horses ever to grace a racetrack, including the legendary Secretariat, Seattle Slew, Citation, Whirlaway and Gallant Fox. Most recently, American Pharoah joined racing immortality when he captured the Triple Crown in 2015. Even the near-misses of prominent horses such as California Chrome, Real Quiet, Silver Charm and Smarty Jones were thrilling in their own right, with the buildup beginning the instant they crossed the finish line of the Preakness until the moment they stepped onto Belmont’s Big Sandy oval.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will offer fans world-class racing and premium hospitality. Over three days, fans will be treated to 18 total stakes worth $9.4 million, including six Grade 1s that feature the Grade 1, $1.2 million Metropolitan and the Grade 1, $1 million Woodford Reserve Manhattan on the Belmont Stakes Day card.
Join us at storied Belmont Park, where spectacular racing awaits, and take in the glamour and excitement of past eras while once again being part of racing history.

TABLE OF CONTENTS
Dear Friend,For the fourth consecutive year, the New York Racing Association is proud to
present the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, highlighted by the 150th running of the
Belmont Stakes. Last year’s edition treated our passionate fans to world-class racing,
outstanding entertainment and premium hospitality, capped by Tapwrit’s exciting
rally in the stretch to win the “Test of the Champion.” The 2018 Belmont Stakes
Racing Festival is sure to be even bigger and better than ever before.
The 2018 festival will again feature the best racing our sport has to offer, with 18
stakes totaling $9.4 million, including 15 graded stakes. The centerpiece is the
Belmont Stakes, the Triple Crown’s oldest and most challenging leg. A stacked card
will showcase five additional Grade 1 races on the day, including the Metropolitan,
Woodford Reserve Manhattan, Ogden Phipps, Acorn and the Longines Just a Game.
A variety of entertainment options will complement the exciting on-track action.
Vibrant live music in our spacious backyard, along with world-renowned headlining
acts playing trackside, will continue to make the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival a
premier destination event as the unofficial kick-off to summer in New York.
We are proud to again offer a variety of hospitality options befitting a premium event.
From an elegant experience in the Champagne Room featuring its private trackside
patio, or the Marquee Tent adjacent to the paddock offering a host of amenities, the
right hospitality package awaits.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2018 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at beautiful
Belmont Park.
Sincerely yours,
Christopher K. KayChief Executive Officer and President
