Setting up a Science Notebook

Today you should have your science journal with you.

Put your name and class period on the front cover of the journal.

Your journal should contain your class notes, lab reports,

worksheets, reference materials, returned graded assessments, and

other paperwork we decide is necessary to keep.

It will be extremely helpful to have your chemistry binder

separated into sections as follows:Section 1 – class notesSection 2 – lab reportsSection 3 – worksheets

Section 4 – reference materialsSection 5 – returned graded

assessments

Please put your chemistry journal in the appropriate box at

the side of the room.Please remember that if you

make the decision to take your journal out of this room, you are responsible for getting it back to

class for our next meeting.
