MEANWHILE speaking at the Virgin Australia agm yesterday, ceo John Borghetti also revealed an expansion of cabin crew, with 250 extra roles mostly based in NSW, bringing total additions this year to around 400. He said Virgin was developing a new cadet pilot training program to be launched next year. The carrier is also set to be operating its domestic and international businesses under the Virgin Australia name by the end of next month, Borghetti confirmed, with other plans incl a revamp of international aircraft.
