Three Things You Must Do If You Want Good Car Audio For some of you, car audio doesn’t really mean much. You’re the type of person that can listen to a crackly radio and think it’s fine, or even be quite content to sing to yourself or sit in silence. However, for others amongst you, car audio is essential. For you people, it’s not simply that you must have audio; it’s that you must have the best audio you can afford. Today, we have written this article for the latter type of person. Below, we outline five things that you must do if you want to end up with the best in-car audio system you can afford. 1. Research the various options available. There are so many different types of car stereo, that if you don’t at least carry out some cursory research, you will probably buy one that is less suitable than another may be. Here are a few things to think about during your research: a. What type of files do you listen to? E.g. MP3, CDs, Cassettes (lol)? b. Whether you want any special services: Satnav, Parking aids, etc. c. Whether you want additional entertainment: music streaming, DVDs, etc. d. Whether you need internet connection. e. Whether you want to be able to connect your phone/tablet, for phone calls and data (e.g. playing music). f. Whether you want special speakers: Component speakers, subwoofers, etc. g. Whether you need an amp. With car audio UK , you will find that you have a lot of options. Some systems will cater to all of the above; others might cater to one or two of them. Clearly, the more options there are, the more expensive the system will be. 2. Listen to the stereo system before you buy it. This won’t always be possible, but in some instances you should be able to listen to the stereo system (or something very similar) before you buy it. In order to do this, you will have to visit the audio shop in person. When doing this, we recommend that you use a specialised car-audio shop, rather than using one of the large, chain, electronic/computer stores. The latter will have less choice, and they are unlikely to have as many options for listening to the stereo if you want to. 3. Consider your budget. The top of the range stereo systems will cost at least £1000, and that’s very expensive. Sometimes it’s worth taking a step back and cutting down on the expense. For example, if you don’t spend a lot of time in your car, is there any point in buying a DVD player for it? Probably not. Furthermore, if you know that you’re going to sell the car in the not too distant future, it might be worth waiting out until you buy the new car. Otherwise, you will have to install the system twice (unless you sell it as part of the price of the car). With a complicated installation, it could cost you a few hundred pounds extra.

Three Things You Must Do If You Want Good Car Audio

For some of you, car audio doesn’t really mean much.

Here are a few things to think about during your research:

a. What type of files do you listen to? E.g. MP3, CDs, Cassettes (lol)? b. Whether you want any special services: Satnav, Parking aids, etc. c. Whether you want additional entertainment: music streaming, DVDs, etc. d. Whether you need internet connection. e. Whether you want to be able to connect your phone/tablet, for phone calls and data

(e.g. playing music). f. Whether you want special speakers: Component speakers, subwoofers, etc. g. Whether you need an amp.

With car audio UK, you will find that you have a lot of options.
