Track and Play Fields

Background

• On March 13, 2019, staff presented track design options for

the Thornton Middle School conversion and Option 1 was

selected.

• Subsequent to the March 13 Board meeting, the site committee requested a design to maximize the play area.

• In response, a modified design was presented.

• The track encircles the perimeter of the entire field, maintaining the little league field and maximizing the play area.

• The site committee is very pleased with the modified design, which is within the project budget.
