PureSyn Polyalphaolefins Polyalphaolefins are polymerized alphaolefins (such as 1-decene), which are then hydrogenated and distilled into various molecular weight distributions. This distribution determines the specific viscosity (measured in cPs) of a synthetic fluid. Depending on the raw materials used, the base fluids are classified (INCI) as either hydrogenated polydecenes or hydrogenated C6-C14 olefin polymers.

These fluids are available in the broadest viscosity range in the industry, 5 cPs to 60,000 cPs at ambient

temperature. ExxonMobil Chemical’s work in this technology arena produced a patented chemical

process that raises the upper viscosity grade available to 60,000 cPs.

PureSyn™ PAO Antiperspirant Deodorant (AP/DO) Applications

Description PureSyn 2 and 4 have found utility in AP/DO applications, particularly in anhydrous stick formulations. These non-volatile, high purity fluids are espeacilly useful as emollients but may also find application as partial or total replacements for volatile cyclomethicone (D5). What is Ultra Freshener/Odor Neutralizer?

Ultra Freshener is formulate using naturally occurring material. It is a proprietary formu-lation of compounds that are completely water-soluble. When sprayed, Ultra Freshener’s mist particles react with odor causing gases of organic and inorganic materials and con-vert them into odorless, stable, and non-toxic compounds. The waterbased non-CFC Ultra Freshener spray is biodegradable, friendly to both the environment and humans. It is non-toxic, non-irritating, solvent free and will not harm metal, plastic, wood, etc. Ultra Freshener does not leave sticky or oily film. Ultra Freshener can be diluted with water for industrial deodorization using automated or man-ual spraying systems. Ultra Freshener is highly effective in neutralizing chemical and gas odors includ-ing termiticides, insecticides, fertilizers, sulfur compounds, mercaptans, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, trimethylamine, skatoles and indoles.

ARGENTIQUE COLORS Argentique pigments offer anew effect brought to you by the in-sight of Impact Colors! We take pure glass flake made from calcium and sodium borosilicate and provide a vapor deposition coating of pure silver! The result is an elegantly brilliant and totally reflective mirror-like surface that dramatically catches and reflects the surrounding colors providing an infinitely unique effect to a wide variety of color cosmetics, eye shadows, nail colors, and lip sticks!

BICHROMA COLORS Bichroma colors offer a soft elegant luster, excellent transparency and a satiny effect. Bichroma colors are bonded to bismuth oxychloride that is coated onto mica. This composite pigment imparts a silky feel to many cosmetic and personal care formulations while improving skin adhesion and wear ability. BILUNA COLORS

Biluna pigments are pure bismuth oxychloride pigments that impart a rich satiny luster, excellent covering power and optimal compressibility and binding characteristics to cosmetics. Biluna’s soft optical effects help to gently defuse ambient light helping to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Biluna’s are available in a variety of particle sizes and bulk densities, and are particularly well-suited for long-wearing product application.

CHROMATIQUE COLORS Impact’s Chromatique pigments provide intense and dramatic color and a variety of pearlescent effects to many types of cosmetic and personal care products. Our Chromatique pigments contain an absorption colorant deposited on either a mica substrate or an interference pearl base, providing a much more intense and rich color effect. In grades using an interference base, the colorant is selected to reinforce the reflection color of the interference pigment. The result is a single color dramatically enhanced through the reflection color complimenting the transition color. DIAMOND COLORS

Diamond pearlescent and iridescent pigments deliver exceptionally dramatic optical effects, including significant depth, sparkle and very intense spectral colors. Our Diamond pigments achieve exceptionally high levels of chromaticity, color purity, brightness, transparency and reflectivity. Diamond pigments offer the ability to create a brilliant, star-like glitter effect based on their smooth surfaces and large particle size. They also produce a true multicolor effect, when two or more Diamond shades are blended. Diamond pigments also can add great visual depth and dimensionality, because their novel substrate has a high level of transparency.

FIESTA COLORS Fiesta pigments are available in silver, gold, interference and metallic colors. The substrate is synthetic and therefore very consistent with little lot to lot variation. Because the synthetic substrate is more transparent the Fiesta pigments provide better luster, stronger chroma, are brighter and the colors are cleaner. The substrate is produced free of heavy metals and bacterial contamination. The synthetic substrate for our Fiesta Pigments produces a pigment more resistant to breakage. Fiesta pigments made with synthetic substrates appear to be easier to disperse in most systems.

IMPACT COLORS Impact pigments vary in luster from matte to silky and smooth to very sparkly, depending upon particle size and distribution. Our Impact Pigments are Titanium Oxide coated on a Mica substrate.

OPTIQUE IRIDESCENCE Impact Color’s Optique pigments are used to create lustrous or opalescent effects in all types of cosmetics and personal care products. Optique iridescent pigments use thin, precisely controlled coatings of titanium diox-ide on mica platelets to separate white light into its component parts and produce dual colors, one by reflection and one by transmission, which then appear as iridescent luminosity.

ELDORADO COLORS Eldorado gold pigments are composed of mica coated with titanium dioxide and iron oxide. A wide array of gold shades are obtained by differing particle sizes and the ratio of iron oxide to titanium dioxide. Eldorado pigments can be used alone, blended together or added as accents to other colors. Eldorado gold pearls are useful for a wide variety of decorative cosmetic and personal care products where a golden luster or sparkle effect is desired. They can also be used in all types of gels or emulsions, either to provide a golden glitter effect in the product itself or a golden sheen when applied to the skin.

GEMINI COLORS Gemini iridescent pigments produce a distinctive dual-color appearance, creating striking and dramatic effects. All Gemini pigments are based on TiO2 coated mica coated with an additional thin layer of a contrasting col-ored pigment. Light interference from the titanium dioxide layer produces a reflection color seen as a colored highlight, while the colored pigment im-parts a background color by the absorbed light . The colored iridescent high-light contrasts with the background color. The interplay between the back-ground and highlight colors in Gemini iridescent pigments cannot be dupli-cated by any combination of interference pigments blended with conven-tional colorants.

KALEIDOSCOPE COLORS Kaleidoscope iridescent pigments use thin, precisely controlled coatings of titanium dioxide on Silicate platelets to separate white light into multiple component parts and produce up to four dramatic and distinct interference colors, three by reflection and one by transmission, which then appear as iridescent luminosity with exceptional eye catching appeal!

MIDNIGHT COLORS Impact’s Midnight Colors provide a deep rich coloration and tone that evokes the mysteries of the night. This rich pallet of color is inspired from our selection of mica based pearl pigments.
