Thomson Reuters Messenger Compliance (TRMC) is a hosted service that collects all conversations and exchanges of information via Thomson Reuters Eikon Messenger for regulatory and compliance purposes. All user activity and related content is captured and compiled on a per company location account basis each of which has a unique TRMC ID.

3rd Party Providers SupportThese 3rd party providers have informed Thomson Reuters that they can support TRMC XML External Feeds:

External Feeds Service Overview Access transcripts of all Eikon Messenger users associated with your company’s Compliance Setup for import into your in-house archive or surveillance system.

XML logs are exported to a secure Thomson Reuters hosted site once a day at a set time, specified when your External Feed is first configured (must be outside of 18:30 – 20:00 GMT).

The files are generated during a 24-hour rolling window and are available for download within six hours after your allocated delivery time.

Access to the files can be further protected by use of IP location restrictions and ranges, to ensure that only connections authorized by the client from a given location can access such information.

IP address range restrictions are supported.

A reconciliation file as a part of the XML files is configurable upon request.

The logs are available on the Thomson Reuters hosted site for a maximum of 30 days; after this period they will be purged by Thomson Reuters unless you have already purged them.
