Counselor Appointments After the first two days of schools, counselors are
available to meet with students.
Students can make appointments by coming to Student Services before school or during lunch to sign up to see their counselor and receive a pass. Students are also able to drop-in without an appointment if their counselor is available.
Students can see their counselor to discuss their courses, academic difficulties, personal/social issues, and for post-secondary planning.
EHS schedule
Odd classes will occur on Red Days, Even on Blue days. First day of school will be a White day with most classes meeting. August 26 Schedule– Advisory (4th Period), 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8
August 27 – Blue Day - we start our regular rotation with a slight change to the order of the periods (4, 2, 6, 8)
August 28 through the end of the year – Red/Blue rotation

Student Schedule
Advisory & Eagle Time
All students will be assigned to an Advisory, which they will remain in for all 4 years.
Advisory will run for 35 minutes, and students will have 55 minutes of Eagle Time to see any of their teachers for remediation, to make up work, or get assistance.
For students who are doing well in their classes there will be, on occasion, optional workshops and activities for them to participate in, or they can use the time to work on homework.

•Allows you to see up to date information regarding your student’s grades and attendance.
•FCPS 24-7 Learning (Blackboard), Parent View Account http://fcps.blackboard.com/
•Allows parents to view their child’s classes, teachers post information that both students and parents can view.
ParentVUE
•Middle and high school students can view their student information including their schedule, gradebooks (starting 9/9), report cards, attendance, and demographic data.
•No registration process, search StudentVUE on the FCPS website, https://www.fcps.edu, login is student’s FCPS network login.
StudentVUE
Parent Outreach and Communication Parents will receive a weekly progress report
containing all the grades as they stand in the teacher’s gradebook.
Progress reports will begin the week of September 9.
In your SIS parent account (ParentVUE), there is a tab titled My Account. Within this tab you can choose which day of the week you receive the email as well as set a threshold if you prefer to receive the email only if your student’s grade drops below a certain percentage.
