Make a video promoting the campaign!
Even a simple 30-second video stating: “I’ve just registered to vote in the EU elections. Have you? Please tell your friends.”

Set-up an Event
Host an event here at Europe House (our offices) or elsewhere on an EU topic that motivates you. It could be a public lecture or just a meet-up with friends at a coffee shop!
Promote our key campaign event “Europe’s Big Night Out”
Share it on social media (including our promotional video!) with #tellEUrfriend #thistimeimvoting #EUElections2019
Come to the event on May 8th at St John’s Church in Smith Square (opposite Europe House).
On-the-ground Activism
Organise a campaign stall in your local area - think university campuses, town squares or popular shopping streets. Remember to share photos on social media! (We can provide you with free leaflets and other material).
Deliver leaflets to your local library, share flyers with friends at a coffee shop or simply drop-off some material at a local shop, every contribution helps.
Coordinate with other volunteers Do you enjoy organising activities? Great! You can help organise and facilitate volunteer actions in the campaign. Be it a social media action, getting people together for a go-to-vote video or planning a campaign stall, there is always a need for coordinators!
Run for Europe #RunforEurope
Wear a Run for Europe T-shirt while you run, jog, walk or cycle and you’ll be telling people about the EU Elections.
Post a photo or video from on social media using the #RunforEurope hashtag!

The 12-star Challenge
The 12-star Challenge is a way of recording all of your campaign activities, this allows you to gain stars and receive an award if you can get all 12-stars!
All volunteering activities listed above can be added and logged to the thistimeimvoting.eu 12-star challenge.
Campaign Strategy for thistimeimvoting.eu
The campaign by the London office is now entering its final two months. For that reason, there are different phases in April and May listed below - but they overlap!
May 7th “Registration / Getting Ready to April
Vote” phase We want to ensure people are aware that the elections are taking place and they are registered to vote.
The #tellEUrfriend social media campaign to encourage people to
register to vote. The campaign is simple: Take a selfie with your passport/ID card (NB! make sure to cover
your personal details) Tag 3 EU friends & challenge or nominate them to do the same by
visiting https://www.yourvotematters.co.uk/ to find all relevant info Use the hashtags: #tellEUrfriend #thistimeimvoting

onwards “Getting Ready to Vote” phase May 7th We want to promote debate and engagement around the elections. We will continue encouraging voter registration but also push key events and activities (see below):
Take part in #RunforEurope
Set-up and attend EU elections events (these can also be added to the 12-star challenge!)
Share information and tools to help people prepare for voting such as yourvotematters.eu (NB this is different to yourvotematters.co.uk!!!)
