Welcome to Fort Massey. Today we will be looking at how we pray, or don’t pray. Visitors are invited to sign our Guest Book and fill out a Welcome Card at the left of the main doors upon exiting the nave, leaving it with the guest book. Join us after the 10:30 Gathering in the lower hall for our annual Robbie Burns Luncheon. Thank you to all those who helped with the lunch and to convenor, Bev MacIntyre.
Sunday Storm Cancellations will be recorded on the church office phone 902.423.4294 by 9 AM on Sunday mornings and posted on the website.
Refugee update. “Last week our Committee received the contact names for an official in Beirut embassy, visa office. We sent a carefully crafted letter to the email addresses. The result was an email stating that due to the length of our wait for information, the officer would initiate an inquiry with the security investigators.” Continue to keep our Syrian family in your prayers. Thank you for your generous support over the past year in which we reached our goal of $10,000.
Observer renewal. Please contact Ruth MacKenzie if you would like to be a subscriber or continue to receive the United Church magazine, The Observer. The cost is $25 for the year.
