ing both services.

the 10:30 service downstairs in Fisher Hall. All are welcome and you do

not need to bring food to attend.

“The Light” a new worshiping community-A Worship Design Team,

led by Rev. Kati Collins, will launch a new worshiping community

with a non-traditional worship service at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday morn-

ings in our gym, beginning September 10th. This new worship service

will welcome a variety of age groups who are spiritual and drawn to

Jesus, maybe went to church years ago, and yet feel uncomfortable in a

traditional church setting. Contact Pastor Kati for more information and

follow our Facebook Page for updates over the summer.

Online registration is still available for Presby Ninja Warrior Challenge. You may

Deacons’ Offering –The Deacons’ offering will be taken today following the

and the community, along with frequent gifts to national and international

missions. The Deacons minister to the congregation by sponsoring events such

as the Ice Cream Social and the Deacons’ Dinner. They also visit our members

in the hospital, deliver treats to our shut-ins, and minister to the community by

offering financial assistance.

We encourage you to help those in need.

PRELUDE Prelude on “Slane” by Gordon Young Mitchell Jerko, Organist

*PROCESSIONAL HYMN #634 To God Be the Glory

*UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION Rev. Kati Collins

Leader: I said I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord.

People: And Thou forgave my sins.

Leader and People: In a world full of things competing for our attention, we confess,

Lord, that we often don’t always take our direction from You. Appetite and ambition

lure us in directions that are not always in line with Your wishes. We neglect to stand

courageously in the face of disappointment and uncertainty. We fail to appreciate the

failures and setbacks that lead to fulfillment and satisfaction. Let us place a greater

faith in Your love and grace. May we find Your beauty that awaits our discovery and

follow Your Son’s words” “Love one another as I have loved you.” We ask this prayer

in Your name. Amen.
