It is only two months since our last magazine but there has been so much happening here and overseas with elections, destructive storms and concerns around the Korean peninsula. Like most Kiwis, I feel grateful to live down this end of the world in what feels like a safe and stable environment where we don’t always feel the full impact of global issues, although our winter weather has been a bit more difficult to deal with this year. The advances in technology and logistics do however start to erode the feeling of isolation that we have, which can have both positive and negative impacts. One such area is the imposing threat of global giants like Amazon and AliBaba coming to our shores. This will without question have an impact on the safe and stable environment as the threat it presents to many existing business models is significant and the thought of retail profits and jobs disappearing from NZ is even more concerning. At Trade Tools we tend to look at the positives and the opportunities that arise from this, the latest consumer surveys are showing the more overseas on-line buying Kiwis do the less trust we have in the providers. This is mainly due to lack of response from abroad when things go wrong (and they do a lot). For companies like Trade Tools and My Tools, this is where we can add significant value to our customers as we have service, delivery and warranty all offered in NZ and we can guarantee the quality of our products. The next six months sees Trade Tools introduce a number of new business systems that will improve our e-commerce capabilities and enhance our purchasing and logistics to ensure we are prepared for the new world expectations and our customers’ demands. APPLICATION: CIMFREE VG-703ES is designed for use in misting applications or other Minimal Quantity Lubrication (MQL) applications where minimal /low flow volumes are required.
