Many, many thanks to the donors and sponsors listed in this booklet -

YOU are an important part of the Albright Care Services family.

We are grateful that you chose to include Albright’s benevolent mission among your giving priorities.

Your generous gifts make it possible to provide safe housing, nutritious meals and necessary medicine

– the most basic of needs – for residents of Normandie Ridge and RiverWoods and participants of

Albright LIFE who are in fi nancial distress. You make a diff erence by ensuring they can remain a part

of our Albright family. Th ank you!

We look forward to the many ways we will continue working together to fulfi ll our mission:

“To create the highest quality of life by encouraging purposeful living through personalized,

progressive and compassionate communities deeply rooted in serving others.”

From all of us at Albright, we wish you a very Happy New Year, full of joy and love!

You are a gift to us!

Enhancing the Lives of the Residents of Normandie Ridge

Th e Normandie Ridge Auxiliary continues its eff orts to fulfi ll its mission of ensuring the highest

quality of life for all residents. With your generous support in 2020, we donated $5,000 to the

Benevolent Care Fund as a Business & Organization partner. We also donated funds to purchase

three benches for the West Manchester Senior Trail and Nature Park.

Our annual Anniversary Celebration had to be cancelled. We anticipate that we will be able to

hold the celebration in 2021, so please put October 9 on your calendars! We are grateful to all who

supported our Bake-Less Bake Sale – we appreciate your gifts.

Membership in the Normandie Ridge Auxiliary is open to all who are interested in supporting the

residents of Normandie Ridge. Dues are just $5 annually. Please consider joining or renewing your

membership. For more information, contact Susan Martin, membership chair, at

[email protected] or (717) 840-1463.

Established in 1971, the RiverWoods Auxiliary continues to raise funds

which are used to enhance the lives of residents in all areas of the campus.

Our main source of income is through Gift Shop sales, and unfortunately, due to COVID-19,

our gift shops have been closed since March. As soon as they are able to reopen – please come visit us!

Th e Auxiliary also supports benevolent care through the Business & Organization partnership program

of Albright. Benevolent care provides funds for residents who have outlived their fi nancial resources by

paying for housing, food and medicine.

Please JOIN US! Membership in the Auxiliary is open to anyone who is interested in the well-being

of the residents of RiverWoods. Members pay annual dues as set by the Executive Board of the

RiverWoods Auxiliary. Currently, dues are $5.00 per year. Donations are also welcome! For more

information, contact Claire Huntington at (570) 441-8912 or [email protected].

Service Above SelfLewisburg Sunrise Rotary Club

As part of this year’s Grande Illumination, many of you

honored friends and loved ones in a new way. Handwritten

names on paper tribute and memorial candles were placed

on display, as you can see, in the photo to the right. Others

were sent to the honorees at the donor’s request.

a special

AnnMarie Fagnano, Donor Relations & Philanthropy, for keeping track of all the luminary sponsors, donations and mailings, with assistance from Lori Finn, receptionist at the Gamber Offi ce.

Rachel Mitchley, Graphic Designer/Printing Specialist, for designing and printing the displays, brochures and Remembrance Booklet.

Key resident leaders who helped to plan and prepare for this year’s luminary placement and lighting:

RiverWoods: Carol Crichley, Larry Kemmerer, Alice Marquart, Carol Mogel, Art Montgomery, and Dick & Kathy Turner

Normandie Ridge: Bruce Bupp, Natalie Ensminger, Jinny & Monte Foor, Bob Kuhn, Susan Martin, Barb & Ray Moose and Nancy Vandevender

In addition, students, staff and various community groups and individuals were prepared to help place and light luminaries this year including: Meadowbrook Christian School, Milton; Lewisburg Sunrise Rotary Club; Lewisburg Alliance Church; United Youth Group, Lewisburg; SUN Area Technical School, New Berlin; Christian School of York; Zion UMC, York; the Hershey Family; Tom and David Lobach, and associates

of Normandie Ridge, RiverWoods and Gamber offi ce.

Unfortunately, we could not safely carry out the placement and lighting this year, due to the large snowstorm and then rain that occurred during the time we would have placed, lighted and cleaned up luminaries.

We look forward to having a spectacular Grande Illumination in December of 2021!
