The Pastors CornerSTRENGTH FOR THE DAY, REST FOR THE LABORBy Pastor David LeeJesus said, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working!" - John 5:17. I was called by the Lord at age of nineteen, and took up my cross and followed Him. In line with this belief, I have not thought of retirement since. The ministry merely adjusted with my age and physical condition. I believe that every servant of the Lord is like the Apostle Paul, finishing his race while keeping his faith.

Since I am certain of Lord’s calling, my life naturally is filled with purpose, meaningfulness, and strength! However, there is a hidden danger with this kind of drive for life if we do not understand, or refuse to get regular quality rest. Both extremes are inappropriate; we must work hard and have proper rest. Jesus sometimes had no time to eat, but

He set an example for the disciples by withdrawing to the wilderness to rest. Over the past few years, many groups and individuals have visited Dali Wellness Center, but only for short stays. Recently there are more inquiries for longer stays: for a month or even a year. Not long ago, we encouraged my ninety-one-year-old mother-in-law from Taiwan to come for a while. After three weeks of a trial period, her body, mind, and soul were greatly improved. As a result, she decided to move here for a long stay. We were very encouraged. God has proven this is a wellness center that He will use to bless others. In addition to the beautiful view and fresh air, more importantly we need to help visitors to relax and make themselves at home! Some building facilities were added over the last couple months, such as a power supply, hot water during the rainy season, and winter heating. Our goal is eventually to offer five days and four nights of physical and spiritual health seminars twice a month.We plan to promote our health program seminars soon via various channels. Hopefully more of God’s workers will come to take a break and renew their strength for the ministry. Many people suffer from chronic illness due to improper lifestyles. They can come here to heal. In recent years, increasing number of young people have depression, even to the point of suicide attempts and self-mutilation. Their parents are anxious and helpless! The majority of Chinese have already seen Dali as a summer resort and tourist destination. Dali is also the city of refuge and pure land, free of air pollution, with clean drinking water and healthy food products!In this message I urge you to help us recommend the Dali Good Health Wellness Center to your friends, family, church brothers and sisters. Our 62nd Anniversary Fall 2016 American Evangelistic Association "Help for Our Spiritual Journey" Conference is going to be an amazing time!Please make plans to join us in Melbourne, Florida, along the Sunny Space Coast – November 11th-13th.It will be an amazing time and we are looking forward to everything from a special intensive teaching on Spiritual Self-Care with Pastor Loretta Iannicelli of Equip Care Services, Inc, Boston, MA, along with up-to-the-minute reports on Israel from Bishop Charles & Dr. Judy Farmer, who will be freshly returning from Israel after leading the 4th Annual AEA Ministries Biblical Studies team travel. Dr. Ed Connatser, Dean of External Studies Program at Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary, will be visiting with us and revealing the most recent updates coming soon at the College with the Online 2.0 program and explain how it is a great connect with AEA member ministries.For those in town on Friday, we are planning a visit to the Holyland Experience in Orlando, Florida, a Meet’n’Greet group dinner Friday evening in Melbourne, and a special reception on Sunday afternoon hosted by Community Gospel Truth Church.Make plans now to join us. A day trip tour has bee planned for Friday, November 11th, to the Holy Land Experience, Orlando, Florida. Tour will depart from Palm Bay, Florida at 9:00 AM. Tour Park from 10:30AM – 5:00PM.
