All bookings made by customers in respect of suites or rooms at The Suites Hotel Knowsley are accepted by The Suites Hotel Knowsley Ltd. (Herein after called ‘The Company’) upon the following terms and conditions.

BOOKING PROCEDURES

A provisional booking will be held for 14 days, if we do not hear from you within 14 days your booking may be released.

An initial booking deposit of £500.00 is required.

At the final details meeting (3 months prior to the wedding) a further £1,500.00 is required.

DAYTIME weddings only in Handley’s Brasserie, 50% of the anticipated revenue is required (3 months prior to the wedding) all other charges/cancellation fees are the same.

The final balance is due 14 days prior to the wedding.

DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND CAN NOT BE OFFSET AGAINST OTHER COMMODITIES

CANCELLATIONS / CHARGES

All cancellations of weddings or other functions should be notified to us in writing.

Cancellation charges are as follows, and are based on anticipated revenues:-

• Between 6 months and 3 months prior to the day = 50%• Between 3 months and 1 month prior to the day = 70%• 1 month or less = 100%

The company reserves the right to cancel any booking, forthwith and without any liability on its part in the event of any damage or destruction of The Suites Hotel Knowsley by fire or other causes, any shortages of labour or food supplies, strikes, walkouts or industrial unrest or any other cause beyond the control of the Company, which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any booking. In these circumstances every effort will be made to accommodate the booking in another similar hotel of an equal standard.

The customer shall notify the Company not less than 14 days prior to the function or event of the final guaranteed numbers attending. If a customer booking is accepted by the Company on the basis that a minimum number of persons will attend the function for which the booking is made, the amount payable by the customer shall be

calculated on such minimum numbers, or the number actually attending, whichever greater. Upon final confirmation of details, if the numbers of persons attending has reduced by 10% or more from the original number agreed on the booking form, the hotel reserve the right to be able to change the booking to a different suite or function room as best fits the numbers involved.

PRICES

Firm prices for food and beverages are established where possible three months prior to the function. All prices for room, food and beverages are stated in Pounds sterling and include Valued Added Tax. All price changes due to government regulations will be charged to the client. We cannot allow food or drink other than that purchased on the premises to be consumed.

The Hotel does not accept responsibility for guests property including wedding cards, gifts and post boxes. Please appoint someone from your wedding party to take responsibility of these items.

Whilst you are getting ready for your wedding in your bedroom the Hotel politely requests you not to use excessive hair spray. Normal use is fine, however excessive use interferes with the fire alarm system and sets off the alarm, causing an evacuation of the whole Hotel, which can obviously have an impact on the timings for your wedding day. The Hotel then has to run a system re-set and there would be a £200 charge to yourselves for this.

The customer shall be responsible for any damage caused to The Suites Hotel Knowsley or the furnishings, utensils and equipment therein by the wilful act or default of the customer or guests of the customer and shall pay the Company on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage. The Company can accept no responsibilty for the property or cars of customers or guests of Suites Hotel Knowsley.

BEDROOMS

CHECK IN - time is 15:00 hours or later.Guests arriving prior to 15:00 hours may leave their luggage in the luggage store if their room is not ready.

CHECK OUT - time is 11:00am on the morning of departure.Guests luggage may be held in the luggage room until departure.

FIREWORKS

All firework displays must be booked direct with the Suites Hotel Knowsley and are only allowed with our official partner Phenomenal Fireworks Ltd.

We are pleased to offer our unique Atrium to couples who wish to marry at the Hotel.

The Atrium with its cascading water feature and glass dome roof is one of the most stunning settings in Merseyside and is ideal for such a special occasion.

The Atrium will accommodate a maximum of 120 guests for a ceremony.
