Encouraging students to go back to school even after Typhoon Ondoy
Adult Post Trauma Counseling
This boy is only 8 years old after the typhoon teachers noticed he has been quiet and withdrawn. Our Counselor, Ms. Lisa came to know that during the time of typhoon he was left alone with his 3 year old younger brother and his 5 month old baby brother and the water came up to his knee level.
He was afraid that his parents might scold him when his 2 younger brothers might die He is too young to carry such responsibility. Praise God no one was hurt
The kids with trauma was separated to a room with Counselor, Kuya Pilo
Psychologist-Pastor Ed Loteria uses art therapy to kids with trauma

This is what the Lord says: As I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will give them all the prosperity I have promised them. - Jeremiah 32:42
It takes a heart to feel the painKailangan ng puso upang maramdaman ang sakitBut It takes an action to ease the painSubalit kailangan ng hakbangin upang mabawasan ang sakit
The hidden stories of broken livesAng mga tagong istorya ng mga nasirang buhayThe shatttered dreams that no one knowsMga gumuhong pangarap na walang nakakabatid
The falling tears that no one seesMga pumapatak ng luhang walang nakakakitaThe untold miseries from withinMga lihim na pighati sa kalooban
All the aspirations and dreamsLahat ng mga naisin at pangarapinAll the hopes and desiresLahat ng pag-asa at naiisin
All have been awakenLahat ay nabigyang buhayNow it can come trueNgayon maaring matupad
Because someone believedDahil mayroong naniwalaThere is someone who paid the priceMayroong tumaya
And taught them how to be back in the race againAt tinuruan silang maibalik muli sa karera And gave them wings to soar highAt binigyan ng pakpak upang makalipad ng matayog
It takes a teacher to tap one's full potentialIsang guro ang siyang naghuhubog ng kakayahanBut it takes a hero to carve it to one's heartSubalit isang bayani ang makakapag-ukit sakanilang mgapuso
Competition maybe stiffMaaring matindi ang kompetisyonOpportunities maybe rareBilang man ang oportunidad
But I know from withinSubalit sigurado ako This time they can winNgayong panahon mananalo sila
The noble cause of touching livesAng mataas na panawagan ng paghubog ng buhayIs an honor that every one hasay isang karangalan ng bawat isa
Serves as a lightpost to their uncharted path of uncertaintyTumatayong matayog na ilawan sa kabila ng pagkaligaw sa kawalanTo turn trial to triumphUpang gawing tagumpay ang pagkasawi
Because it takes just one tobelieveSapagkat kahit iisa lang angmaniwalaAnd makes things happenAt gawin ang nararapat
We, the FilipinosTayong mga PilipinoAre the history makers of our nationAng lumilikha ng kasaysayan ng ating bayan
We write the future right in theAting sinusulat ang kinabukasanlives of the people around usSa buhay ng mga taong nakapaligid sa atin
Bayanihan A true Filipino Culture
