Dress Pink Day helps people participate by wearing pink wherever they are. Choose to wear pink all over from head to toe or in more subtle ways like a pink tie, pink lipstick, a pink scarf or even pink shoe laces. Get everyone in your school or workplace to wear pink anytime in October (or during the rest of the year) and make a donation to Rays of Hope. Ask for $2 or $5 for each student to participate. Ask the professors or your boss to give $10! Register your Dress Pink Day by calling our office. We can provide you with pink ribbon sticker pins and more! Visit our website to download a Dress Pink Day packet or call our office.

Ways to support Rays of Hope Host a Pink Party Get the Party Started! Pink Sparkly Party – host a jewelry party and include lots of pink baubles. Contact your favorite jewelry party host and ask them to donate a percentage of the sales to Rays of Hope. Pink Karaoke – Mix up your playlist to include tunes from artists like Pink and Pink Floyd or tunes with “pink” in the lyrics. Pink Pajama Party – be sure to include some slipper tapping tunes! Pink Quiz – ask questions about all things pink. Pink Promise Auction – Get willing volunteers to auction anything from a date with themselves to the promise of cleaning the winning bidder’s dorm room or house! Give out pink party favors like pink breast cancer ribbons, pink cowboy hats, pink sunglasses, pink feather boas….you get the idea! Serve pink drinks and food….check out the internet for some great ideas. Ask for donations, sell pink items, charge a fee – there are lots of ways to fundraise!

Pink Wig Monday Wig Out for Rays of Hope and turn a blue Monday into a fun Pink Day! Designate Monday as the day to see your classmates, teachers, co-workers and bosses wearing a pink wig, or any kind of funky wig, and ask that each participant make a donation to Rays of Hope. Be sure to let us know if your school or workplace is “Wigging Out” by contacting our office to register. Make sure to send us photos…we may post them on our website or Facebook page!

Take on the Challenge of a Lifetime Everyone has a different reason for supporting Rays of Hope. Maybe you want to honor a loved one, support a friend or take on a big challenge. Whatever your motivation, you’ll be helping us with the biggest challenge of all – beating breast cancer. and so much more!
