Thank you to our employees for 5+ years of exceptional service!

Home Equity Lines of CreditA Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) is a line of credit secured by the home you own. It allows you to borrow money as needed up to an approved credit limit, much like a credit card. Due to high demand, many financial institutions have temporarily stopped accepting HELOC applications, but Cedar Point hasn’t!

Whether you need funds to renovate your home, send your kids to college, pay off debt, or cover unexpected expenses, a HELOC is an excellent option for many homeowners. With rates as low

as 3.99%* Annual Precentage Rate, you could save on interest expenses from high-rate credit cards or loans. Our HELOC experts at Cedar Point offer quick turnaround during the application process. Visit our website to apply while this offer lasts.

cpfcu.com/Home-Equity*Best rates are based upon approved credit. The rate is a variable rate and may increase. Maximum rate is 15%. Closing costs estimated at $2,200 to $2,400 on a $60,000 HELOC. NMLS #449975

Tips for Keeping Your Accounts SecureCedar Point will never ask for your digital banking full username or password. If you receive a call or text message asking for personal

information from a phone number claiming to be Cedar Point, do not respond. Instead, hang up and call Cedar Point at 301-863-7071 to verify

the legitimacy of the call or text message. Also, remember to never give out your debit or credit card information to an unfamiliar phone number.

Scholarship AnnouncementCedar Point is proud to announce that one of our own employees recently received an impressive scholarship. Ashleigh Sanford, an employee in our Lending Department, is the recipient of the George E. Myers Scholarship, presented by the Defense Credit Union Council. This scholarship is for volunteers, management, or staff of DCUC member credit unions so they can further their professional credit

union education, knowledge, and leadership skills. Sanford plans to use this $3,500 scholarship towards her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Sanford has worked at Cedar Point for over five years and has proven to be a valuable team member. Congratulations to Ashleigh for this well-deserved recognition!

Employee Appreciation WeekDid you know that March 5, 2021 was National Employee Appreciation Day? For the management team, one day was not enough to show our employees how much they are appreciated. So we celebrated for the entire week!

We held a Spirit Week, complete with a costume contest each day. The daily themes were Team Spirit Day, Decade Day, Red Carpet Day, and Black & White Day, with a casual day on Friday to round out the week. Prizes were awarded to eight lucky employees for their spirit-gear.

Employees were also treated to lunch at the end of the week, with Executive Team members personally delivering the food and spending time with the employees. Games were played, prizes were awarded and smiles were abundant.

The management team sincerely thanks each of our employees for their dedication to the credit union. Because of them, we are able to fulfill our brand promise of turning goals into reality by providing financial solutions with integrity, honesty and outstanding service.
