What does this ALL mean when compared to eternity in Jannah? One of the main misunderstanding we all have in this life is that if we do good, we should get good in this life and hereafter. This is not entirely true. This life is not the life well get justice in. If this was the case, there would be no need for a Day of Judgement or Akhira. His anger. And Allah (SubhanahuWa‟Tala) pro mises you in many placesin the Qur'an, that if you do just that,He‟ll give you a „good‟ life. Allah says inthe Holy Quran:

“Whoever works righteousness, man orwoman, and has Faith, verily, to himwill We give a new Life, a life that isgood and pure and We will bestow onsuch their reward according to the bestof their actions.” (Surat Al -Nahl: verse97)“He that is righteous and patient, -never will Allah suffer the reward to belost, of those who do right.” (SuratYusof, Verse 90)

Durin g times of hardship, it‟s essentialto remember there are effective waysto deal with any difficulty. Here are

practical steps to help you and me faceany difficult situation..In shaa' Allah..*SALAAH- >>> Make sure you stick to

praying on time – 5 times a day. Nevermiss a salaah and do your best to prayeach Salaah ON TIME with SINCERITYas if it‟s your last salaah in this world. The Prophet once said that in prayer,he would find rest and relief (Nasai). He would also regularly ask for God‟sforgiveness and remain in prostrationduring prayer praising God (Tasbeeh)and asking for His forgiveness.(Bukhari).*READ QUR'AN->>> This Quran is so

beautiful that no matter whatdifficulties you face you‟ll find solace init. Subhan Allah!!..*MAKE DU'A- >>> Especially the du'afor removing anxiety. Ask Him as muchas you possibly can. Ask Him... HeALWAYS Listens..turn each anxiety, each fear and each concern into a Du'a(supplication). Look at it as anotherreason to submit to God and be inSajdah (prostration), during which youare closest to Allah. God listens and

already knows what is in your heart, but He wants you to ask Him for whatyou want. The Prophet Salaalahu alayhiwa Salam said: Allah is angry withthose who do not ask Him for

anything.” (Tirmidhi).DO DIKHR- >>> Without doubt in theremembrance (dikhr) of Allah dohearts find tranquility." (Quran 13:28).Allah also says; "Remember Me, and Ishall remember you; be grateful to Me,and deny Me not" (Quran 2:152).When your heart feels heavy with stressor grief, remember Allah and surroundyourself with His dikhr. Dikhr refers toall forms of the remembrance of Allah,

including Salat, Tasbeeh, Tahmeed,Tahleel, making supplication (Dua).*GIVE SADAQAH- >>> Give lots ofcharity, as much as you can, because ithelps push away hardship. And if youcan‟t give money, even kind words or

physical sadaqah can do (i.e. helping people physically or emotionally).*SET GOALS and HAVE VISION- >>>Don‟t let shaytaan play with you andkeep replaying the video of yourhardship in your mind over and overagain, move on! Set new goals, new

projects, and find a Islamic social life, make friends to those who you thinkare pious Muslims to help you increaseyour Imaan and helps you get closer toAllah and always remember you‟re withAllah, nothing should stop you!SEEK HELP THROUGH SAB'R- >>> “Seekhelp through Sabr and Salaat.”(Quran2:45). This instruction from Allah

provides us with two critical tools thatcan ease our worries and pain.Patience and prayer are two oft-neglected stressbusters. Sabr is oftentranslated as patience but it is not justthat. It includes self-control,

perseverance, endurance, and afocused struggle to achieve one‟s goal.

Unlike patience, which impliesresignation, the concept of Sabrincludes a duty to remain steadfast toachieve your goals despite all odds.WAKE UP EARLY- >>> Wake up before

fajr and work on your ideas and projects, or simply read Qur‟an. Getting busy before day break is a definite wayto move away from your hardship andovercome challenges. Get most of yourideas/work done in these early hours, these are blessed hours.RELYING ON ALLAH: Tawakkul- >>>When you awaken in the morning, thank Allah for giving you life after thatshort death called sleep. When you

step out of your home, say 'in Your Name Allah, I put my trust in Allah, andthere is no power or force except withAllah.' Once you have established a

plan you intend to follow through onto deal with a specific issue or problemin your life, put your trust in the mostWise and the All-Knowing. "When youhave taken a decision, put your trust inAllah" (Quran 3: 159).Rely on Allah by constantlyremembering Him throughout yourday. When you lay down to sleep, remember that sleep is death. That iswhy one of the recommendedsupplications before going to sleep is"with Your (Allah) Name I die and

become alive."HARDSHIP IS NOT LOST- >>>Remember, Allah ta'ala will neverforget the injustice/hardship you faced,so don‟t worry about seeking revengeor trying to get justice.. Consider thehadith of Rasoolullah (SAW) told to us

by Suhaib in which Rasoolullah (SAW)said, “The affair of the believer isamazing! The whole of his life is

beneficial, and that is only in the caseof the believer. When good times cometo him, he is thankful and it is good for

him, and when bad times befall him,he is patient and it is also good forhim” (narrated by Muslim).Indeed, we all fall sick, get intoaccidents, or are sadden at times of

despair. However, the believer easilyovercomes such hardships.Rasoolullah (SAW) said that, “When the

believer is afflicted with pain, even thatof a prick of a thorn or more, Godforgives hi s sins” (narrated by Bukhari)In the end, I pray that Allah(Subhanahu Wa‟Tala) removes all yourordeals and hardships, blesses you allwith a good life and helps youremember Him day and night, for

“Verily, with remembrance of Allah, dohearts find rest”. (Surah Ar -Ra‟d , verse28) I ask Allah to give us the strength,

perseverance, and patience in any trial, shower us with His mercy, and rewardus all in our good deeds for His sakeALONE. Ameen.Alhamdulillahi RabbilAalamin..Subhanaka Allahumma WaBihamdika Ashadu Anla Illaha IllahAnta astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilaik.
