greed, envy and frustration are fear emotions. They areexternal to your being. They are simply fear, NOT real.

Love, joy, happiness, inspiration, adoration, grace, areemotions reflecting nature, harmony and very healing.

Fear is boring. Boredom is lack of energy. Accept it

as a passing cloud otherwise you lose more energy.Boredom is lack of boldness, trust and faith. Fear is

always a feeling to be rejected because what you fear isjust the thing that is likely to come to you. Fear attracts

the object of fear. The important step towards wellnessis rejection-just switch off.

FAITH is understanding this. Would you consult animaginary fear based on history to make your real lifedecisions? Fear creates helplessness. Even if there is

real danger, fear does not help. It doubts the intelligence,takes away presence of mind and prevents one seeing

the right thing to do."The real disease is fear, throw the fear away and thedisease will go." - Mother.

Fear is a phenomenon of unconsciousness. It is akind of anguish that comes from ignorance, lack of trustin Nature's way. Mother of all worries is fear! Fear is false

evidence appearing real. An excessive concern aboutone's security. An uneasy feeling created by unknownfuture is translated into fear, guilt, shame, apathy, griefand anger. Fear of real danger is healthy! You become

proactive and protected. Fear of enemies of old age or

death, of rejection, a multitude of social rejection arecrippling. Today their fears have become motivators.Most people's driving force is fear. This has become theofficial tool for control by agencies, who bring rules and

regulations and thus give food for Media and advertisersto play to fear to increase market shares. Theproliferation of fears is as limitless as the humanimagination. If your focus is fear, the endless worrisome

events of the world feed it. It creates a chronically highstress level. Joy goes out of your life. It is only contagious

germ that is real.Fear has become a dominant social trend. Fear limits

growth of the personality and leads to inhibition. Toconquer one's own fear we seek leaders, which lead to

losing one's power. A vicious circle you are trapped :Abandonment : Low self esteem and low self worth. Lackof trust is the effect of fear. Everything you know

corresponds to a belief you are holding. Replace Fearby Faith. F=Falsehood demolished A=Abundance

Spend your money on purchasing fruits, vegetables,

nuts, seeds and sprouts. Think about it!

realized I = Intelligence shines T = Truth revealed in theH = Heart. Reject the belief based on information. That

is not knowledge.Cultivate a culture of spontaneous trust in nature.Trust the knowing you feel very often. As a child, youknew it all. Oh! What a Joy. Then what happened. Otherthan saying "Have Faith" all our actions are based onfear. In the name of prevention, proactive, practical! We

need to carry the spirit of a child through all ages to feelwellness! Nature does not perceive you as young andold. That is the wellness way. Develop wholeness. Allthe elements in nature are in you Twenty Four Hours a

day-Seven days a week you are perfect knowing that

everything is working out perfectly right now. This stateof mind, emotion, is referred to as FAITH which bringswellness. We know this. When we start analyzing, FEARappears. Reject it.

All that surround us such as light, warmth, energy,the innumerable variety of shapes, colors, sizes, flavors,scents and tastes are real. All these are progressingeternally. The solar system and their inter relations, the

earth, the mountain, the life force, the vital energypermitting the air, nothing has been created by human

though. Nothing has been shaped by human hands. Thisnature, this force of oneness-that is self generated selfgrowing, self flowing, self sustainable, sensitive-thisrhythym has an energy! That is Faith in action. An

unbelievable unique fact of energy which moves, createseverything. Faith moves mountains. Truly so. You arepart and parcel of this energy. Fear consumes thisenergy. Reject it. Move forward from Fear to Faith.

Allow love from your heart to wash through you and clean and heal every part of your body and emotions. It fulfills a deeper thirst.

Your body is totally able to keep itself healthy, if you let it!

Give up the need to know why things happen as they do.

KILLER SALTTake a glass of water and add some iodised salt (or

table salt) to it. Stir it well. You can now choose any ofthe following actions :

a. Sniff this mixture deeply.b. Take a few sips of this solution.c. Sprinkle some of this solution on an open wound.Now watch yourself closely. See how your body

reacts. See how your senses respond.In all cases, the sodium chloride (or salt) in the body

leaves a trail of irritation and destruction. When you sniff,it is a terrible burning sensation for the highly sensitive

sinus membranes which are provoked. When you drinkit, the body immediately expels it through violentvomiting as it usually does with poisons. When salt watergets into eyes there is again burning with a rush of bloodto the eyes (making for bloodshot eyes) to protect themembranes. And when salt water hits an open wound,the tissue around is destroyed, causing pain anddiscomfort.

These however, are only our body's externalsymptoms to the mere application of salt. Can youimagine what happens within the body when we

consume salt, in the manner we do?For salt is one of the most widely used condiments

in the world. American for example consume almost2,75,000 tons of table salt every year at an average of10-12g every day. In fact, this consumption is about onlyone-eighth of a fatal dose! A fatal dose of salt is usuallyabout 4 ounces taken at a time. So simple , that it is nowonder that Chinese used it to commit suicide.

like make up. It makes food "appear" better tasting,fooling your taste buds by disguising the actual food.Condiments, like make up are also often irritating,harmful and carcinogenic. Like a natural healthy facethat requires no artificial makeup, natural food toorequires no seasoning or condiments.

There is no physiological need for table salt whichmeans that our body does not demand it. For, condimentslike table salt are not food. They certainly have little orno nutritional value.

Interestingly there are very many salts known to

chemists. Yet sodium chloride is the only one that weassume is a necessary addition to our foods to stay wellnourished! Epsom salt, or certain mineral salts like thoseof iron or calcium, are always treated as medicines, neveras food, and never as nutrient!!

Iodised table salt is therefore only a culturallyconditioned habit. A habit that contributes to ill healthand disease. Hypertension, obesity, kidney stone andeven cancer is caused by our intake of salt.

Considering that we consume salt in everything frombaby foods to invisible additives found in all processedfood, our 'disguised' consumption of salt is really veryhigh, much higher than that conscious salt shaker onthe table! For salt is present in biscuits, in breads, inalmost everything packaged, without even us beingaware of it as salt!

Table salt is an inorganic chemical compound whichcannot be used by the body. The most common argumentfor salt is that the body has sodium and chlorine mineral

needs that sodium chloride (table salt) crystal are thoughtto satisfy. But sodium chloride cannot be utilized by the

body as sodium chloride (NaCl), circulates within as NaCl,and leaves it as NaCl, at no point it is broken into sodiumand chlorine as the body requires it. Table salt thuspasses through the body and out, without undergoingany change. It is not metabolized as are organic salts. Itnever becomes a part of any of the body's tissues, and itis not used for any of the body's secretions.

But, the body can use organic sodium and organicchlorine as found in natural living foods like fruits andvegetables.

Sodium chloride is a very strong and stable molecule.

It is an inert substance, a non living and inactive mineral.It cannot be broken down in the digestive tract or by theliver. Salt does not do anything. Its presence in the bodyactually retards digestion. In Japan where salts andpickled foods are widely eaten the incidence of stomachcancer is higher than any other place in the world. Acancerous stomach is definitely no indication of betterdigestion!

Salt however came widely into use due to its valueas a food preserver, salted meats and vegetable delayeddecay. That is why the Egyptians used salt forembalming!

Salt affects the water activities in food so thatbacterial growth is prevented. Salt is like an antibioticor anti life. Salt pickles affect each and every organ ofthe body, sticking to the artery and stiffening it. It is socaustic to the sensitive inner tissue of the body that wateris retained within the system to neutralise its acidiceffect. Water retention in the body then (or the extra

pounds that is water and not fat) is the presence of saltwhich traps and holds the water. An ounce of salt canhold 3 quarts of water within the system!

When salt is not eliminated from body, it is depositedthrough out the body fluids causing extreme irritation,injury, and death to billions of cells craving for water."Thirst", as we recognize it, is really thirst to dilute thedamage within the body. This is similar to what happenswhen salt is sprinkled on any fresh vegetables or fruits.They wilt because the water from its cells is drawn outby the salt. The same thing happens within the body cells.And wilted cells do not function! When salt gets into thebloodstream, it is eliminated with great difficulty. Much

of it is thrown out through the skin - our largest organ ofelimination. Much of the solid matter in sweat is sodiumchloride. Heavy salt users are also those who sweatmuch, for this is the body's way to throw out the poison.Even tears of salt users are more salty than those ofnon users! Ill health is thus caused by placing an extraburden on the body to out the salt and also by the extraweight gain due to water retention. Our body ends updoing nothing else but trying to get rid of the excesssalt. All our vital body energy is diverted instead ofutilizing this energy for important body functions.

But even if people are convinced that salt is of nonutritional use, craving still exists. "Salt makes my foodtaste better" is a common justification for eating salt.But this craving exists only because our taste buds havebeen conditioned to it. This craving also stems from alack of other mineral needed by the body. Salt in factperforms its "flavoring" by inflaming and irritating thetaste buds on the tongue. The taste buds turn sensitive

through chemical irritation!It is only when we give up salt that we realize the true

taste of foods with their own organic minerals. Our tastesbuds get sharper too! Nature has provided a wide rangeof true foods that can be consumed in mouthfuls withoutany harmful effects. Fresh raw fruits and vegetables arealso full of appetizing flavours and aromas. They tickleand provoke our taste buds without any need foradditional condiments like salt!Note : Fresh lime, mango, tamarind, cocum, celery, sea

weed can be used as substitute condiments instead of salt.

Food takes energy before it becomes a source of energy. There is no such thing as a safe dosage of radiation.

THE FRUITARIAN DIETA Fruitarian is someone who eats predominantly fruit

and ideally 100%"Fruits" include all tree fruits, all berries, watermelons,

vine fruits like kiwis and grapes and vegetable - fruitslike tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. Fruitarians livingin tropical environments would consume coconutsalthough coconuts are often thought of as a nut.

Some Fruitarians will consume nuts and vegetablesto a certain extent, although these rarely would beconsumed in any great amount by a Fruitarian.

WHY FRUITARIAN ?

To Fruitarians, the diet is simply a naturalprogression, from omnivore to vegetarian, vegan, rawfoods and finally Fruitarian. To some, it is the chosendiet for health reasons. Others follow it because theybelieve humans were always destined to eat fruit, startingfrom the Garden of Eden.

The one thing that most Fruitarians mention aboveall others is a knowingness, an internal feeling that theFruitarian diet is the diet meant for mankind.

BENEFITS OF BEING FRUITARIAN

Cooked food is an unnatural human creation and is

toxic to the body. Fruitarians eat 100% raw food as closeas possible to its natural state. It is never possible toimprove upon nature, a fact that many humans find hardto accept. When our diet is in harmony with nature, ourhealth excels and our consciousness expands.

Vegetables, while they can be consumed raw, are notvery, appealing without dressings or some kind ofunnatural thing done to them. Consuming mostvegetables involves the killing of the plant, whereas fruits

are freely given.Fruit is the one thing that appeals to humans in every

way and provides every possible nutrient, making usFruitarians.

Many will attack the diet, (just like vegetarianism andveganism were attacked for decades) and will say that itis deficient in calcium or protein... Without trying, it iseasy to get more than sufficient amounts of all nutrientson a fruitarian diet, even calcium and yes even protein.

Most of the fears and myths are a result of ignoranceor misinformation. When we become informed andeducated, we realize that the Fruitarian diet does supplyus with everything we need and not only is the best diet

for humans, but (not coincidentally) it is the moreenvironmentally sound diet for the planet.

FOOD COMBININGFor Easy Complete Digestion especially if you are eating cooked / non vegetarian / oily foods.

• Wholesome, Raw, Natural Foods when eaten, are theeasiest for digestion.

• Proteins and Carbohydrates should never becombined.

• Fasting prevents digestion of Protein. A mix vegetablesalad can offset the inhibiting effect on digestion - ifyou have to eat a fat with protein.

VITAMIN B12

- THE "REAL" NEEDPeople who have recently turned vegetarian - tends

to fear that they will be deficient in vitamin B12. There isalso a controversy about whether "pure" vegetarians

(vegan) get enough B12

in their diet.

A look at the facts : 

First : Vegetarians per se DO NOT suffer frompernicious anemia - vitamin B

12deficiency. Fewer than

30 cases in all of B12

deficiency for vegetarians have

been described in medical literature! It is seen so rarely,

that when it does, it receives undue publicity.This deficiency is a pathology due to the putrefaction

and impairment of the ability to absorb B12 by the body.In other words, the deficiency is not necessarily due to

being vegetarian.Second : "Normal" diets tend to contain gross

excesses of fat, protein and refined foods, all of which

increase the need for B12

. These foods also interfere with

the synthesis and absorption of B12

within the body.Third : A conventional meat/dairy consumer is more

likely to be a candidate for B12

deficiency than an

individual/child/mother on an adequate vegetarian diet.

This is because of the putrefactive bacteria (found incooked animal protein, chemicals and drugs) which

destroy the "friendly" bacteria in the intestines/digestive

tract. B12

is produced only by Microorganisms such as

bacteria/algae, not plants/animals!Fourth : B

12is necessary in miniscule amounts. So

little that it is spoken of in micrograms, not milligrams.Think about that we need less than one micrograms

that our need for B12

supplements, tablets and B12

boosters, than to get peopleto be proactive about their own health.

Sixth : Vitamin B12

is present in bananas, dates,

greens, peanuts, sprouts, sunflower seeds and any or

all garden fresh produce.Seventh : Until recently our natural living conditions,

allowed thousands of microbes to flourish abundantlyeverywhere in our soil, air, water-even in our mouth and

intestinal tracts where millions of helpful microbes

provide all the B12

we could ever desire. Today in our

paranoia for "germs and viruses" bacteria too, we areeradicating millions of these micro-organisms from the

environment/body and surroundings thereby reducing

and removing the helpful B12

microbe.

Eight : In such a situation growing your own herb/veggie is the best solution. Cobalt in the soil, in your

potted plants, is a great source of B12.If there are any more nagging doubts, clarify your

own convictions about the natural way!

MINIMIZING THE HAZARDS OF DRUGS

Every Medicine is a drug. Every drug is a poision.

Know the risks : Make sure you know what the ingredients of a medicine are.

Some brands are more risky than others.

There is only a safe dose - No safe medicine.

Don't risk addiction : The body can quickly become 

dependent on drugs, so that ever-increasing 

quantities are needed to have any effect. Always take 

the smallest recommended dosages, for the shortest 

of time. The safest medicine is fruits.

Consider alternative treatments : Investigate other forms of treatments such as osteopathy or 

acupuncture. Many forms of healing and curing do not 

require chemicals at all. These are non-invasive 

methods.

EARTH IS ALIVE IN US"What we do to the Earth, We do to ourselves." This

message is not new. The Earth has always been regardedas the source of Life and most traditions had protocols

for tending to this. At the deepest level, the differences

between Inner and Outer, Self and Earth, melted away

revealing the unity of all, as a Living web of Relationships.

How do we, ten thousand years later, brought up by

the forces of industrial growth society, re-establish a

relationship with the Earth? How do we find ourselves

within Nature?

Just one realized Breath of Awareness, experienced

within our Body can awaken us to this fact : we are notseparate from the matrix of all things. Like the breath

that goes in and comes out, we are constantly giving

and taking from the larger environment around. We have

been formed from it, and will return to it. Blood, lymph,

sweat, mucus, tears - these are our inner rivers, our

anatomical oceans responding to the moon tides -

tugging and pulling at our own biorhythms.

From the Earth, soil and rock transformed into the

molecules of life. From there arose the cell, the organism,

you, me, apple, bear and biology! Ashes to ashes, dustto dust, each cell is replaced after seven years, recycled

and incorporated from the Earth.

Our planet's membrane is the atmosphere. We

breathe in life-giving oxygen from the leaves, and exhale

carbon dioxide to feed the trees. From the sun, the fire

that feeds all organic life, is the vital juice that pumps

our own metabolism. Our cells retain this memory. Our

body remembers this inter existence, this long planetary

journey - every time we breathe every time we eat, every

time a life is born.In the face of chemical foods, industrial pollution and

stress, we need to awaken this memory. If we can realize

that "Life is a flow, not a stockpile" (Paul Hawken), If we

can remember who we are - a symbiotic part of the Earth

- then we can bring together our Inner and Outer worlds,

our Self and the Earth.

Here are some quick facts, to arm yourself with... or

better still, teach your kids. Your kids in turn can learnabout them, and spread the good word around their friends- and most importantly, at school, their teachers. Why don't

you try, doing something... like, have a discussion at aPTA meeting, or even at a birthday party. . . where you

serve no refined sugar.

You can start a campaign for better health, even in yourown building. . . and for all those reluctant people, who

don't really believe that sugar can be THAT BAD, here isthe information!

• Sugar is bleached with phosphate of lime to give itssparkling white colour. . .

• Saccharin - is a coal tar product.

• It takes an hour to chew 2 feet of cane from which weget one large lump of sugar.

• Disturbs the blood - sugar balance and hence the

energy reserves. Creates infections in the body. Robs

the body of enzymes and minerals.

• Processed cereal foods that we give our children, are

dosed with a heavy percentage of sugar. One pound

of sugar provides 1800 calories and nothing else.

• Eating sugar places a burden on the pancreas. Thepancreas secretes a substance necessary to enable

the body to use sugar as a fuel food. If the pancreas isinjured (due to excess sugar) its ability to secrete

insulin is also injured - as a result, the body loses itsability to burn sugar.

• When we drink sugar - as in soft drinks, tea or

sweetened juices, salivary digestion is lacking. Oursaliva is an agent of extreme importance in thedigestion of carbohydrate foods. Normally when we

chew food - we increase and stimulate the flow of

saliva, to help digestion. By swallowing and drinking,this digestive action of saliva is not allowed. Thisresults in a great strain on our other digestive glands,

which leads to all kinds of other problems.

• A good friend to food processors . . . Apart from beingcheap and heavy, it masks the flavour. Thus when

sufficient quantities are added, inferior and soiled

ingredients can be made to taste good!

• To replace refined sugar, use foods that are rich innatural enzymes, which means foods rich in naturalsugars-fruits. Use dried fruits, (dates, figs, grapes,

bananas, apricots, raisins, prunes, peaches

etc.)...unrefined jaggery can also be used.

THE NUTRITIONAL BASIS OF LIFEWHAT CONSTITUTES NUTRITION?

It is one thing to eat an abundance of good food, it isquite another thing to have good nutrition. Everyday wesee examples of the fact that it is one thing to be able toeat an abundance of good food, but quite another to gainstrength from the food. Food is one of the materials withwhich the processes of nutrition are carried on. Water is

another and air is another. But neither one of these, norall of them combined, constitute nutrition.

Nutrition is function and we can have better nutritive

function only when we have the capacity for better nutrition.

Capacity cannot be bought. There are no drugs in the drug

stores that can increase capacity, nor can they carry on

the functions of life for us. The power to live, to breathe, to

eat and to function resides within and not without us.

ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINTI have been dwelling on the theme of our 4th Asian

Vegetarian Congress; and from my subsequent readingand research, I would like to share with you a uniqueperspective of the “ecological footprint” on planet earth.Simply put, an ecological footprint is a measure of howmuch of Mother Nature you consume. It is a metric thatallows us to calculate human pressure on the planet andcome up with facts such as: if everyone lived the lifestyleof the average American, you would require theequivalent of five planets.

Humanity needs what nature provides, but how do weknow how much we’re using and how much we have to

use? The Ecological Footprint has emerged as the world’spremier measure of humanity’s demand on nature. Itmeasures how much land and water area a humanpopulation requires to produce the resource it consumesand to absorb its wastes, using prevailing means.

Our current global situation: Since the mid 1980s,humanity has been in ecological overshoot with annualdemand on resources exceeding what Earth canregenerate each year. It now takes the Earth one yearand four months to regenerate what we use in a year.We maintain this overshoot by liquidating the Earth’s

resources. Overshoot is a vastly underestimated threatto human well-being and the health of the planet, andone that is not adequately addressed. By measuringthe Footprint of a population—an individual, city,business, nation, or all of humanity—we can assess ourpressure on the planet, which helps us manage ourecological assets more wisely and take personal andcollective action in support of a world where humanitylives within the Earth’s bounds.

Conceived in 1990 by Mathis Wackernagel andWilliam Rees at the University of British Columbia, theEcological Footprint is now in wide use by scientists,

businesses, governments, agencies, individuals, andinstitutions working to monitor ecological resource useand advance sustainable development.

Today humanity uses the equivalent of 1.3 planets toprovide the resources we use and absorb our waste.This means it now takes the Earth one year and fourmonths to regenerate what we use in a year.

Moderate UN scenarios suggest that if currentpopulation and consumption trends continue, by the mid2030s we will need the equivalent of two Earths tosupport us. And of course, we only have one.

Turning resources into waste faster than waste canbe turned back into resources puts us in globalecological overshoot, depleting the very resources onwhich human life and biodiversity depend.

The result is collapsing fisheries, diminishing forestcover, depletion of fresh water systems, and the buildupof pollution and waste, which creates problems likeglobal climate change. These are just a few of the mostnoticeable effects of overshoot.

Overshoot also contributes to resource conflicts and

wars, mass migrations, famine, disease and other humantragedies—and tends to have a disproportionate impacton the poor, who cannot buy their way out of the problemby getting resources from somewhere else.

The Earth provides all that we need to live and thrive.So what will it take for humanity to live within the meansof one planet?

Individuals and institutions worldwide must begin torecognize ecological limits. We must begin to make

Studies show that the more protein you consume,the more calcium you lose! 

ecological limits central to our decision-making and usehuman ingenuity to find new ways to live, within theEarth’s bounds.

This means investing in technology and infrastructurethat will allow us to operate in a resource constrainedworld. It means taking individual action, and creatingthe public demand for businesses and policy makers toparticipate.

Using tools like the Ecological Footprint to manageour ecological assets is essential for humanity’s survivaland success. Knowing how much nature we have, howmuch we use, and who uses what is the first step, andwill allow us to track our progress as we work towardour goal of sustainable, one-planet living.

September 23 this year marked an unfortunatemilestone: the day humanity had used all the resourcesnature will generate this year, according to GlobalFootprint Network data. Earth Overshoot Day marks theday when humanity begins living beyond its ecologicalmeans. Beyond that day, we move into the ecologicalequivalent of deficit spending, utilizing resources at arate faster than what the planet can regenerate in acalendar year.

Globally, we now require the equivalent of 1.4 planets

to support our lifestyles. But of course, we only haveone Earth. The result is that our supply of naturalresources — such as trees and fish — continues toshrink, while our waste, primarily carbon dioxide,accumulates.

Eating more fruits, veggies, and grains helps to savethe environment. The millions of animals raised for foodtake a toll on an already strained environment.

When we eat more plant source foods we help to

clean up our water sources. Farm animals and slaughterhouses contribute thousands of pounds of pollution dailyto our streams and rivers. Eating more plant source

foods also helps to save energy. Raising farm animalsrequires more than 1/3 of all raw materials and fossilfuels in the US. And, because, an acre of land willproduce more than ten times the amount of grain thanmeat, a plant based diet helps spare forests by freeingup more agricultural land.

When we eat more plant source foods we help to relieveworld hunger. In the United States alone, farm animalseat 70% of our grains, more than enough to feed the entireearth’s human population. With one acre producing morethan ten times the amount of grain as meat, plant sourcefoods require less land to feed one human.

When we eat more plant source foods, we lessenanimal suffering. Farm animals no longer roam in greenpastures and rest in ‘Farmer Brown’s barnyard’. Themore grains, fruits, and veggies we eat, the morechickens we save from the misery of living in dark, dirty,cramped cages for their entire lives, enduring painfuldebeaking, toe docking, and suffering deformities anddisorders brought about by genetic manipulation formore meat production. Eating more plant source foods

saves more cattle, sheep, and pigs from the misery ofliving in dark, dirty, cramped pens, painful branding,castration and dehorning, electrical prods and, whenstuns fail, scalding or butchering while still conscious.Slaughter animals are not protected under regular animalwelfare laws.

According to Dr. Donald Bloom, animal welfare advisorto the British government, the pain system in fish isvirtually the same as in birds and mammals. Eating more

plant source foods saves more fish from the suffering ofsuffocation or internal ruptures from decompression asthey are pulled from the ocean depths.

Here is some interesting trivia. Any guesses howmany vegetarians can be fed on land needed to support1 person eating a meat base diet? The answer is 15-20.

And one more reason to be primarily vegetarian orentirely vegetarian is you will be in the company of somefamous people. A few of them are Dr. Benjamin Spock,Paul McCartney, Bob Barker, Wrestler ‘Killer’ Kowalski,Pamela Anderson, Shania Twain, Ashley Judd, JackLaLanne, John Harvey Kellogg of Kellogg’s cereals, DonImus, and Billy Jean King. – Bipin Parekh

PROTEIN IN FRUITSVegetarians have been drilled with the age old question

time and time again, "but where do you get your protein?"Oddly enough, vegetarians actually consume more proteinthan meat eaters. (According to Vegetarian Times). Thequestion is about as ridiculous as asking, but where do youget your cholesterol? Americans are dying en massebecause of over consumption of protein rich foods.

The World Health Organization recommends that youget about 4.5% of your calories from protein. Otherorganizations put the figure a little higher, at about 6%.

Most people assume that fruit has NO protein. Guesswhat, most fruits have between 3 and 9% protein, averagingaround 6%.

The only way to not get enough protein on a fruit diet isto not eat enough. Get enough calories from fruit and youautomatically get enough protein. It is as simple as that.People will continually argue that you will die of proteindeficiency on a fruit diet, but the facts are there for thosewho wish to see them.

Do not take anyone's word for it, do your own researchand you will discover the truth for yourself.
