Summit Systems offers a range of high performance
granulators specifically designed for the processing of
thermoform scrap.
Thermoforming processes produce 30-50% of scraps.
With such high volumes, inline recovery has to be high
performing, reliable and silent. The TRIA-TF series has
been designed to meet all these needs, grinding most
plastics including PP, PS, PET, PLA, mono and Coex.
TRIA-TF granulators are dedicated to recover full
sheet at start-up, full sheet with cups and web sheet
giving uniformity to regrind material. A reduced
footprint and sheet in-feed devices ensure the
TRIA-TF is suited to most thermoforming lines.
Particular attention has been paid to noise level
reduction and an ergonomic design. The TRIA-TF
series can be fitted to positive or negative pressure
transport systems. Filtering and depowdering will
ensure a high quality of regrind material.
