2. Operation Instruction

2.2 Image analysis

2.2.1 File import

There are four methods to import files, via Wi-Fi, USB, FV and folder. Wi-Fi: The selected data will be downloaded and saved in the selected folder on the left

dendrogram.This function is valid when Wi-Fi SD card is applied.

USB: All data can be recognized automatically when USB is connected with camera, and

click Download to save the file in the selected folder on the left dendrogram. To download part

of data, please input the serial numbers in From and To.

NOTE: This is only valid for NV series and V series. For TH series, data can be

transferred by USB from camera to PC only.

FV: Files in THERMOCOM /GUIDE INFRARED FV can be downloaded and saved in selected folder.

Folder: Transfer data to the folder or subfolder to home directory\THERMOCOM / GUIDE

Files. These data can be reviewed on left column.

2.2.2 Create folder

Create new folder: click + beside THERMOCOM / GUIDE Files on the left column to create

new folder. Input valid folder name and click Confirm to finish this operation. Two-level folder

is supported.

Delete folder: Select any folder on the left column and click – to display delete dialog interface.

Click Confirm to delete the folder; click Cancel to close the dialog interface.

2.2.3 Image Parameters

Click sub-nail of IR image to display all information of this image on the right column, like

device, importance, file size,

2.2.4 Review annotation

In browse interface, the file will be shown with on the right if the image is annotated in

text. Will be shown if voice is included, press the button to play the voice. Will

be shown if the image includes location. As show in the figure:

2.3. Image analysis

2.3.1 Load image

Method I: In review file, choose one thermal image and double click to analysis and loan the

image.

Method II: In analysis interface, press to choose thermal image to load.

Method III：Choose thermal image and drag into analysis interface, the program will auto

identify and show the information.

2.3.2 Add analysis object

Add analysis object: thermal image could be added with multi analysis objects, round,

rectangle, polygon, spot, line, delta etc. Meanwhile the object information including Max. Min.

and average temperature will be show on the right. As show in the figure:

Spot：Press , spot will be shown on the image, as show in the figure:

Line：Press , line will be shown on the image, as show in the figure:

Delta ：Press , delta will be shown on the image, as show in the figure:

Rectangle：Press , rectangle will be shown on the image, as show in the figure:

Round：Press , round will be shown on the image, as show in the figure:

Polygon：Press , polygon will be shown on the image, as show in the figure:

Delete object：2 modes, press to delete single object to; press to delete all the

analysis objects in the image.

2.3.3 3D show & IR blending

3D show：Press 3D to show the image in 3D. The IR blending image could be rotated,

zoomed in and zoomed out by mouse. As show in the figure:

IR Blending：Press for IR blending function. The blending part could be moved, zoomed

in and zoomed out by mouse. The blending part could be adjusted by moving temperature

interval. As show in the figure:

2.3.4 Palette & Gauge Setting

Change palette: 9 palettes are available to select. Press to show the palette panel, and

user could change the pallet or restore. As show in the figure:

Customize gauge setting: Adjust the sliders in the dimmer to change the color effect on the

thermal image. Corresponding color to the temperature is shown in the dimmer. As show in

the figure:

Press Auto to default.

Press to save the analysis object and customized palette. As show in the figure:

2.3.5 Emissivity

Single analysis object: choose one object on the measuring object information field, double

click left mouse button to popup emissivity dialog box. User could select the emissivity and

click confirm to save. As show in the figure:

Multi analysis objects: emissivity for all the analysis objects could be revised. Double click

Emissivity in IR parameters area, the emissivity dialog box will be displayed. Choose the

checkbox on the right to apply the customized emissivity to all the objects. As show in the

figure:

NOTE: The emissivity revised in video analysis is in the same way.

2.4. Video analysis Display method Camera recognize

2.4.1 Real-time image

Choose valid camera in the model list, and the real time image and video will be shown with

parameters after connection. As show in the figure:

There are two connecting way for TH640, Wi-Fi and USB connection.

PS: The user need install USB driver of TH series or TH640 before connection. Users should enter the IP address in the same LAN, otherwise the connection will be failed.

2.4.2 Replay

Press to loan video in irv. Format and video will reply automatically. The buttons under

video are for stop, pause, last frame and next frame. Analysis can be done on live video, and

Live information of analysis objects will be displayed. As show in the figure:

2.4.3 Customize temperature

Press Auto to activate Max. and Min. input state. User could input interested temperature

value, press Enter in keyboard to confirm. Press Manual to reset to default. As show in the

figure:

2.5. Generate report

2.5.1 Load image

Method one, double click left mouse button on any image in left image area to show the

information in template on the right. As show in the figure:

Method two, click the right mouse button on the thermal imager or visual image, then there is

a loading option, the user could add the image in BMP, PNG, and JPG as show in the figure

2.5.2 Add annotation

User could do simple edition on template,

Press to add text on the template.

Press to add annotation on the template.

Press to add tag on the template

NOTE: The selected object could be deleted by press Delete on the keyboard.

2.5.3 Page setting

Modify report default icon: Press Browser to choose local picture to modify report icon.

Reset to default icon: Press Default to reset to default icon, the same as the default icon in

setting.

2.5.4 Add template

Click for template database. User could modify the current template layout, press to

add new template. Press to delete the chosen template. Template highlighted in green

is the one in edition. As show in the figure:

2.5.5 Export file

Press Export to export template in format of PDF, WORD or EXCEL.

3. Setting

5 tabs could be set,

Language: Chinese, English, German, Polish and Spanish are available.

Unit: temperature unit(Celsius degree, Fahrenheit degree and Kelvin ) and parasang (Meter

and Inch).

Show: Object and full figure annotation

Report: Default setting custom report icon, header, footer and auto launch. If choose auto

launch, the report will be opened by system associated program.

Others: Open and close setting for information popup and auto update.

4. FAQ

Ezshare connection instruction

Method one, automatically access IP address

Open Wi-Fi SD card, access Menu-Control panel-Network connection, double click the icon

of wireless connection, then there is a local area connection interface, choose the SSID

named ex Share, the password is 88888888 to connect the network as the figure.

Open the IrAnalyser, click Data input-WIFI, and press Refresh to get the file information.

Method two, manually set IP address

Successful connection EZ Share network, enter WIFI Properties interface, enter IP 192.168.4.

（2-255），default gateway and DNS are 192.168.4.1 as the figure.

5. How to install the program for a restricted account

In windows7 or windows XP, login the system under standard account and execute

the installed procedures, make sure the default path is not under Disc C （ Such as

E:\InfraredAnalysis\）. Then you could successful installation.
