It’s Grandpa Joey’s birthday on Saturday, and he

is coming for a visit.

We can ask Jesus to show us something special

to do for Grandpa.

First we need to stop what we’re

doing… …and picture Jesus.

hearing from Jesus?1

Jesus, thank You for Grandpa Joey. Please show us how we can

make his birthday special.

Jesus told me that Grandpa is a special man, and we can show him our

love with a nice card.

We can put the Bible verse inside, “The joy of the

Lord is your strength!”2

It was so simple!

We can make a wonderful card for

Grandpa Joey!

Good work on listening to

Jesus, kids!

Kevin can draw the picture

on the card.

Marie can write the verse inside, and Cesca can color

a border around the card.

Then we have to be quiet and listen.

And hear Jesus speak to our hearts.
