Theme | From Tradition Towards ProfessionalismTraditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) has evolved over thousands of years where skills and knowledge that have been passed down for many generations have been gradually honed into a more precise and exact science. This in essence is the shift towards professionalism in T&CM. The aim of professionalism is to provide quality and safe T&CM services to the public. The impact of the evolution is to ensure better health for the nation, which is also in line with National Mission Thrust for improved and sustainable quality of life.
Objectives1. TounderstandtheinfluenceoftraditionandcultureinthedevelopmentofT&CM2. To share knowledge and experiences in formalising, standardising and regulating T&CM3. To encourage individual empowerment by promoting and increasing awareness on quality and safety

1. Free paper presentation is open to all involved in clinical and basic science research related to Traditional and Complementary Medicine.
2. Kindly adhere to the abstract submission guideline.
3. An acknowledgement will be sent to you once you have successfully submitted your abstract. Please contact theScientificCommittee ifyoudonotreceive the acknowledgement.
4. Abstracts accepted at this conference will be presented as Poster/ Oral only, whichwillbedecidedbytheScientificCommittee
5. Authors will be responsible for all expenses incurred in the production of their presentation, travel and accommodation during the conference.
6. The Scientific Committee reservesthe right to accept or reject abstracts submitted. The Committee’s decision is final.
7. Presenters of accepted abstracts are required to be registered paying participants of the 8th INTRACOM conference.
8. Authors may submit more than ONE paper.
9. Abstract must be submitted in ENGLISH.
10. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Programme Book.
11. Papers submitted should represent original, previously unpublished work.
• Word limit should be between 200-300 words.• Do not include figures or graphs with the
abstract. Any figures or tables in graphicformat will not be published in the programme book.
