    Take 5 photos that:

    fill at least 3 out of the 4 categories on this chart. Ie (numeric and partial variation), (numeric and direct variation), and (pictorial and directvariation)

    are all examples of linear relations that exist in our world naturally (The photographs are not contrived; viewer can reallysee math in a place they hadnt realized it existed.

    3. On each photo, add a textbox to indicate what you intended to be thedependent variable, in another textbox, indicate what you intended to be

    the independent variable.

    7. Using the notebook file (p.2), insert the 5 photographs that you created into the chart.You must show Miss Cooney it make sure they are correct!

    9. Using the notebook file (p.3), labeleach of the circles in the Venn diagram. One circle in the Venn diagram must be labelled as either Partial Variation orDirect Variation and the other circle must be labelled as either Continuous or Discrete

    10. Select 7 photos from different group members and insert them into the Venn diagram that you have created. These 7 photos can not include your ownphotos. You must have at least 1 photograph in each of the 3 sections. (See page 4 of the notebook file to understand how the 3 sections work.)

    11. Underneath the Venn diagram, write a couple of sentences for each photograph justifying why you placed the photograph in that section of the Venn diagram.Remember to credit each photographer in your description.

    By the end of class you must post your assignment to first class.
