A brand new show will be going to the Edin-burgh Festival Fringe this year that focuses oneveryones favourite subject Zombies and moreimportantly how to survive when the undeadrise. How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse isan inspiring and enlightening seminar that willteach you all the rudimentary skills required toget you through those tough times without fo-cusing on firearms and explosives.

ogy,' entitled 'Howling Brat,' is now complete,and due to be entered into festivals at the startof 2009. The first two films - 'Gasoline Blood'and 'Creeping Thirst' have been screened at over20 international festivals now. After takingthem to Cannes over the last couple of years,they have screened in Rio De Janeiro, Italy, San

Jose, California, St.Petersberg, Frightfest OdeonLeciester Square and many more.The stage we are at now is that we are seekinginvestment opportunities for the feature film

version of'Gasoline Blood.' We've been in talkswith a couple of Producers and identifying thenext stage in getting the project off the ground.I would ideally love to shoot it Summer 2009,

but obviously it all depends on the financialside of things!

Zombies of the Nightis a gripping BritishIndie Grindhouseflick.It was shot in Devonin the UK over 14days and can best bedescribed as a rural28 days later, with a

psychological andgrindhouse twist. It'sa very tense film, veryintimate, followingone young man as theworld around himstarts falling to pieces.Foot and Mouth has broken out in epidemic pro-portions and suddenly people are being turned into zombies! It's not a scientific, discover a curemovie - it's a how the hell am I going to survive

this adventure.The idea for the film was very simple. If I literallywoke up to discover my parents had become zom-

bies - what the hell would I do? Would I believe it?

Would I survive it?Who would believeme?We shot on 35mmlenses with theHVX200, our DOPRobbie Bryant reallyworked with the cam-era, trying to achieve

some 'in-camera'grindhouse effects, aswell as some beautifulshots, to give the filma truly layered visualstyle. Post production

is currently underway with Maniac Films and BurnHand Film Productions both giving us use of theiredit, sfx and grading suites, whilst the score is com-posed and sound design created by the award win-ning Alan Deacon.

May 2007 Camp Saint

TeresaOn May 1st the US Govern-ment working with FEMAand the CDC sets up a campin the Nevada desert withthe purpose of treating the uninsured sick. The US Gov-ernment issues St. Teresa Passports to Hospitals acrossthe country who are instructed to give the passports touninsured patients in need. By June 1st all the passportshave been issued. By mid June additional camps are setup in every state across the US.

July 2007 The Campion VirusIn July the Super Flu mutates and the total death tolldoubles in just a few weeks. The CDC dubs Super Flu,the Campion Virus. Reports of cases are coming in fromevery country on the globe. The United Nations declaresa global state of emergency.

September 2007 Dead and AttackingOn September 8th 2007 a 911 call is placed from some-

where in Northern California. The caller claims that hesat a pharmaceutical testing facility where theyre testingCampion Virus treatments. The caller claims that someof the patients have died and are attacking people. The911 operator asks if the patients are dead or are attackingto which the caller responds, both. This is the first re-corded case of zombie behavior resulting from the Cam-pion Virus.

November 19th 2007 Zombies

By November 2nd 2007 theinfected reach Las Vegas. Thecity falls by the 3rd. The in-fected spread from there. Thewest coast is hit on the 5th bythe 7th the east coast is in-fected. Estimates are that75% of the population isdead or undead by the 19th ofNovember. Survivors are ontheir own. The US Govern-ment and all its agenciescease to function (As far aswe know).

Present DayThe Campion Virus has reached its final mutation. Thepositive is that the virus is only transferable by bite, it isno longer an airborne virus. The negative is that the vi-rus will , inevitably, take over the body and cause zom-bism. Present day survivors have spread out across theglobe. You are one of them. Tell us your story.

When I was asked to say afew things for this e-zine, Ithought about what it wasthat got me doing what I amright now. Growing upwhere I did in a NorthernOntario town, in Canada,there was a serious lack of artat my disposal. Short of visitsto one of the few comic orbook stores in this small city,

there wasnt much available. I craved to sink myteeth into sci-fi and horror images. Tired of waiting

for the next Bernie Wrightson or William Stout, Istarted to draw and create my own monster uni-verse.That was decades ago. Not much has changed forme artistically. I still draw every day, only now I

get to share my art with the world, instead of the

handful of friends who used to dig my stuff. Gongon three years ago, I decided to use my portraitureskills in a more gory way, and zombiefied myselfand my wife for fun. Within weekswww.zombieportraits.com was up and the zom-bie portraits virus started to spread.

With hundreds of my army of undead paintingsdone, I still was searching for another creative out-let for all things zombie. And so I launchedwww.zombiedaily.com. This site allowed me to

give something to horror/art fans for free a newimage illustrated and posted every single day!Where else could you get that? After posting hun-dreds of images, I took a few months off to finish mybook, The Zombie Handbook due out this July.Well, the book is done, and zombiedaily.com is backwith its official relaunch, May 18th. On the night of April 4th, thepavements of Holloway Road weresplattered with blood. Thankfullyin this instance it was fake, anddripping from the attendees of ourValentine's Zombie Prom!The night and its multitude oforganisers, helpers, donatorsand guests managed to raiseover two thousand pounds forthe homeless charity StMungo's. More than 200 zom-

bies in prom attire shambledon down to The Gaff (www.thegaffclub.com)and had a whole heap of bloody fun.Zombie Cupid was also in attendance. Heended the night having lost his bow and ar-rows, minus a sandal and covered in gore afterstarting a blood fight in thecrowd. The symbol of love andromance has never looked bet-ter!The bands of the eveningwere 100 Robots, Tits of Deathand Dirty Wee Middens. Everyact blew the cobwebs awayfrom what was left of our

brains throughout the night -they too dressing to impress informalwear smeared with guts.In between band sets DJsplayed tunes good enough toraise the dead, including

chucklesome hitssuch as 'Stayin'Alive'.Prom King andQueen Mister AndyBeard and Miss

Alexys Bercerrawere crowned atmidnight, after ad-mitting they wereon their seconddate. It was a beau-tiful scene and those of us with eyes still in oursockets shed a little zombie tear of happiness...The organisers and members of WZD Londonwould like to take this opportunity to again

thank everyone who made the night possible.From bands who put on such an amazingshow, to the extremely generoussouls who donated to the raffle,to those who bought a ticket andmade such an amazing effortwith their costumes - and every-one in between! and rioting is reported in London. Before long, thedead begin to rise in Southampton, adding to theirranks with each new victim. With nowhere else togo, the friends head to the safest place they know,their school. Theres just one problem. Despite be-ing only a few blocks away, there is 10,000 dead inthe way.
