“You only get one chance to make a first impression!”
The Ultimate Service Agency evolved out of the Secret Service Agency, started in 1991 by CEO Ed Lachterman, and focused on Mystery Shopper Reports. Over the years it evolved into a full service consulting agency meeting the needs of all types of businesses trying to improve themselves in today’s service oriented environment.
In addition to working with restaurants, service trades, wholesalers and retail stores, we have partnered up with individuals to create Memorable Events for every special moment and with Local and National Charities to build Successful Fundraisers.
Whether you are trying to make the best first impression possible, create memorable events or trying to get your business back on the path to success and profitability, The Ultimate Service Agency can help you achieve your goals. Our services include:
Grand Openings – Full staff training, press releases, ribbon cutting ceremonies, receptions.
Seminars and Training – Specializing in Sales, hospitality and leadership training.
Facilities and Sanitation Inspections – We will help you analyze your space from both customer and board of health objectives and help to implement an action plan.
Mystery Shoppers – We will help you know how your customer service is when “No one is watching”.
Alcohol Compliance – Staff trainings on proper proofing, serving and intervention.
Event Planning – We can organize events from 5 to 5000. Let us know your needs.
Troubleshooting – Not sure why sales and profitability are not there? Let our team help analyze and help get you back on track!
It’s summer in Yorktown. Time to relax and have fun with family and friends. Yorkville Sports Association (YSA) offers lots of summer fun with local sports leagues and tournaments. From basketball to Wiffle Ball, there’s something for everyone, and all of the summer activities benefit local not-for-profit organizations.
“All of our tournaments are recreational and competitive, and our Wiffle Ball tournaments have a family component,” said Al Morales, President of YSA. “Our goal is to provide an opportunity for athletic competition and family fun while benefiting the organizations that provide valuable services to our community.”
• The “Wiffathon” Wiffle Ball Tournament will be held at Navajo Fields at the Yorktown Sports Complex on July 11th. The tournament is a family event, open to all ages. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department.
• The second annual Nothin’ But Net 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will be held on July 15th-17th at FDR Park Basketball Court. A portion of the proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Yorktown Teen Center.
• The third annual Wifftoberfest Wiffle Ball Tournament will be held on October 17, 2015 at Navajo Fields. Also a family event, open to all ages. A portion of the proceeds will benefit ASK (Alliance For Safe Kids).
In addition to the tournaments being held throughout the summer, YSA is organizing coed kickball and dodgeball leagues. A portion of the proceeds from the leagues will be donated to YAC and Support Connection.
For more information on the leagues and tournaments, visit YSA’s website at ysaleagues.com, or call the YSA office at 962-8390 ext. 10.

Ever since I was a youngster, I had a passion for photography. Growing up, I always had a camera with me waiting for that perfect shot. Five years ago I began my professional photography career. I first started photographing food for a blog I belonged to with two friends who reviewed restaurants.
Later, I began Patrignelli Photography where I would promote photography services as well as display my work. I am a huge fan of black and white photography, landscape photography, and artistic photography such as HDR and light painting. I even have prints for sale on my website, www.patrignelliphotography.com
I have photographed many events in the city, several parties, and have done several family portrait shots. My wife and I try to offer photography at a fair and reasonable rate, knowing that photography services can be expensive. One service that we are trying to promote is our studio style photo booth that can be used for all sorts of occasions.
Joining the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce, I hope to establish many relationships, and become known to the community.

PATRIGNELLI PHOTOGRAPHY
DR. ROBERT C. REISS opened his prac-tice in Yorktown Heights in 1993. My primary goal is to find the cause of pain and give my patient’s relief as quickly as possible. My ser-vices are tailored to each patient to fit their specific needs. These include, but are not limited to, spinal adjustments, muscle stimu-lation, ultrasound, and massage. In addition to alleviating pain, my office focus is more than just on treatment. I want people to have longer lasting effects from what I do in the office so I give them things to do outside of the treatment rooms. As we become a more technology connected society we see detrimental changes to our posture and spi-nal health. I am seeing an increase in what is called forward head posture or “text neck.” I spend time on sitting, sleeping and standing habits as well as posture correction move-ment and exercises. With Chiropractic care we can prevent these damages and correct them if they have already occurred.
Chiropractic care can be applied as a form of treatment for many different issues. Chiropractic care helps people sleep better, reduce stress, exercise more effectively, and perform better in all aspects of life. In addi-tion to chiropractic, we also offer weight loss and optimal health programs through Take Shape for Life. As Health Coaches, Margo Libenson and I, teach our clients how to lose weight, keep it off, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. 914-962-5413

Our 4th Annual Auto show was a resounding success attended by many. Over 40 new car models were on display along with vendors and children’s rides. A special thanks goes to Nancy Stingone for her work and dedication to this event, to our dealers and vendors and to Yorktown’s Parks and Recreation Department for allowing us use of the Jack Devito Memorial Field.
On July 13th we will honor three high school seniors with scholarships at the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce’s Scholarship Award Dinner. This event is sponsored by Saidel and Saidel, PC, Doug Petri of A.S.A. P. Mortgage and Little Sorrento Restaurant. We thank all who made a contribution to this program and congratulate the winners.
Next, on August 20, 2015 we will honor five members who have contributed to the YCC throughout the year through their volunteerism at our Member Appreciation Dinner: Joe Foley, John Iorio, Brett Freeman, Perry Gusikoff and Jeff Jankowski. Tickets are $40pp and seating is limited. Be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible by calling the office.
We are already in the throes of the 7th Annual Yorktown Street and Festival Fair to be held on Sunday, October 11. This year we have added a few new attractions: We will have an “open mic” to show off and display
our tremendous local talent…and …we will have a “hot dog eating contest!” Sponsorship and vendor opportunities abound. Go on www.yorktownchamber.com to see how best you can promote your business by buying a flag with your company’s name to fly over the hamlets of Yorktown, your name on a banner or a vendor spot…remember over 20,000 attended last year!
I will be going to the town board in the middle of July to bring up an idea that I’ve had for many years to make Commerce Street one way from Friendly’s heading up to the fire house. With diagonal parking on Commerce Street I feel it will help all the businesses to be able to get more foot traffic and be able to make the Heights area a more walkable town.
On the heels of the beer distributor business closing, many rumors have sprung up of other business closing in Yorktown. Let me assure you that it is not the case. Yorktown’s economy is strong and growing with many new and exciting venues slated to come in.
Have a safe and happy Fourth of July!
