• The waka that Paikea had been riding has been sank because Paikea had accidentally removed the wood chips on the waka that has been put inside by herself for she cut a hole there in order to revenge. Fortunately, Paikea called the whale again, and in order to acknowledge Pai for she saved them previously, the whales had called their friends and had took Paikea and her people back to safety. Koro said, "I don't know why Paikea has make a hole on the waka. Maybe she had been controlled to do so. Anyway, it's not her fault. She had revealed us again what is a leadership quality."

Rawiri Stopped His Diet

• Rawiri thought that he needs a diet, so he stayed at home and was trying to regain his fitness. One day, when he heard the news of the sank waka, he was nearly to cry: because there were Koro, Paikea, and his many friends on board. He had went to the seashore at once and was waiting with Porourangi, Anna, Heeme, and Nanny Flowers. Luckily Rawiri had found that all of the people in the waka had survived, so he had forgot all about the diet and had a dinner for 2 hours!

Germany Dismantles Portugal

• In the six months since the World Cup draw, Germany and Portugal were thrown together along with the U.S. and Ghana—for the first round. Group G has been referred to one of this tournament's Group of Death.

Germany took note of it and shrugged. In the space of 45 minutes on Monday, Germany dismantled Portugal with three first-half goals on the way to a 4-0 victory.

• Müller opened the scoring in the 11th minute from the penalty spot, after Götze was held back by João Pereira. Defender Mats Hummels added a second with a header from a Toni Kroos’ corner in the 32nd minute.
