MASTER STC™

The Master Proheat® STC™ Model PH-1600 is a surface temperature sensing and control heat gun.

Unlike other LCD display type heat guns which display only the temperature at the nozzle, the Master Proheat STC is the first heat gun to sense, display and control actual SURFACE temperatures. It is now possible to display your work surface temperature, dial-in a target temperature and watch the displayed surface temperature increase as it approaches and reaches your target temperature.

SPEED UP THE HEATING PROCESS – GET THE JOB DONE FAST!With its high temperature, airflow and power rating, the Proheat STC heats work surfaces up to target tempera-tures fast! Knowing the surface temperature at all times enables you to work in the upper limits of the target temperature cure zone speeding up the heating process.

LTS™ LASER TARGETING SYSTEMWhen you turn on the unit and point it at the work surface, a unique Laser Targeting System™ provides the proper field of view for accurate temperature measurement. Two lasers converge into a point when the nozzle is 4” from the work surface. Laser points separated by 1/4 inch or less (either closer or farther away from the work surface) provide the proper field of view for accurate temperature measurement.

PROLOC™ SUPERVISOR LOCKING FEATUREThe current surface temperature displays on the bottom row of the LCD and the target temperature displays on the top row. After dialing-in the temperature and airflow that is best for your application, our unique Proloc™ supervisor locking system can lock the controls to prevent changing of temperature and airflow.

LED PROGRESS INDICATORDuring the heating process our LED Progress Indicator light gives a visual display of your heating progress. Green, yellow and red LED lights indicate progress in the heating process and when you have reached your target temperature.

STC™ AUTOMATIC SURFACE TEMPERATURE CONTROLOnce your target temperature is reached, the Master Proheat STC will automatically regulate the heater to main-tain the target temperature. The Proheat STC compensates for changes in the distance from the work surface by automatically adjusting the temperature output. Both the target temperature and the actual surface temperature will match.

This revolutionary new heat gun technology gives you the special capability of knowing your surface or workpiece temperature at all times to enable accurate process control for many temperature sensitive surface and substrate applications!

5. PROLOC™ SUPERVISOR LOCKING FEATURE. After dialing-in the temperature and airflow that is best for your application, the supervisor can lock the controls to prevent changing of temperature or airflow for repeatable process control.

6. LED PROGRESS INDICATORS. Green, yellow and red LED lights indicate progress in heating process. Green - proceed, Yellow – you are close and Red – you have reached target temperature.

7. STC™AUTOMATIC SURFACE TEMPERATURE CONTROL. Adjusts output temperature during the heating process. More heat when you are away from the surface and less heat when you are close to the surface. Automatically regulates the heater to maintain the target surface temperature.

8. DISPLAY TEMPERATURE IN EITHER DEGREES CELSIUS OR FAHRENHEIT. Easy to change Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature settings.

9. LOCKABLE MOMENTARY CONTACT SWITCH. Tool operates only when switch is depressed. Switch can be locked into place for continuous duty applications or when tool is used in various positions.

10. BUILT-IN HANGING LOOP. Makes it easy to hang the tool on balancers over the production area.11. EASY GRIP CUSHIONED HANDLE. Balanced, ergonomic design prevents operator fatigue.12. 3-WIRE GROUNDED CORDSET. Oil resistant neoprene. Provides flexibility and ease of use.
