Professional Tip Re-grip your clubs
It is recommended that all grips be replace every 4-6 months. Bring in your clubs to be re-gripped. This will allow you to hold on to the club and minimize the turning of the clubface during the
swing. Can grips really improve my game? By themselves, fresh grips can only allow you to approach your potential as a golfer. A national survey of golfers showed that 66% of those who had clubs re-gripped showed an average drop of three to four strokes per round!
Drop your clubs and we will re-grip your clubs within 24 hours

Golf Tip from the Pro
How To Make
Short Putts
Once you are over your putt - 1.) Hit - make a good solid stroke on the line
you've intended with the speed you feel is correct
2.) Hold - finish your putting stroke with your eyes still focused on where you made contact
with the ball
3.) Look - Once your putting stroke is finished, you can look up to watch the ball roll in.

Head’s up team tennis players…..the season is just around the corner and are you ready? Now is the time to shake off the summer heat and start conditioning for the fall sea-son. Assess your strings and court shoes so you will be more than ready to take to the courts as teams are organizing. Not on a team and want to be? Contact the Tennis Shop 897-0332 for more information on joining one of the many teams at the WIC. Remember to hydrate and stay cool during these dog days….don’t over do it and take a lot of water breaks if you are on the courts during these dog days of August! See you on the courts….
...and a little more information from your favorite tennis pro….
As the fall season approaches, please take the time to check out the
wictennis.com website before coming out to play. We have a lot of
new teams for the season which means more home matches.

August Tennis Tip Kristopher Riede, Tennis Pro
“Exaggerate Your Follow Through ...especially when training.
The majority of all people, no matter what sport they play, can improve by following
through when you get a little nervous or your opponent is in control of play and moving
you around.
Exaggerate your follow through; do not think...just hit the ball.
MOVE YOUR FEET!
