Dear TWPA Parents/Carers,

Last week was all about our local area and how we can get involved! Year 2 took part in a local area study, discovering the sights, smells and sounds of

South Harrow.

Every child participated in Road Safety workshops learning about how to

keep safe in our local area. Warning though, we will be very sad if you don’t take notice of the new signs in the vicinity of school.

This week we will talk more about Anti-Bullying with November being Anti-Bullying month. Bullying can happen at any school and we are working to

eradicate it. What is extremely important at The Welldon Park Academy is how we respond when incidents come up. We are always available to talk

through any incident and we want to make sure we investigate any worries and concerns your child may have.

Non uniform day this Friday 22nd November—please bring in your donations for the fair! Parents/Carers—can you spare an hour? Volunteers needed for the big day. Please contact Miss Rushton via the school office!

The class assemblies scheduled for the Autumn 2 half term are below. Please note the new

time of 2.45pm for class assemblies:

2.45pm Friday 22nd November—Year 5 Emerald Class Assembly

2.45pm Friday 6th December—Year 5 Ruby Class Assembly

Spring Term class assemblies will be published before the end of this half term.

EYFS Winter Concert and Nativity

This year, our winter concert and nativity will take place on TUESDAY 10th December at 9.15am and being repeated

at 2.15pm.

This performance is being put on by Nursery and Recep-tion only.

Year 1 Production

This Year our Year 1 pupils will host their own separate production in the Summer 1 half term. Dates will be pub-

lished in the newsletter in due course.

As always, if you have any concerns, meet your child’s class teacher first – speak to the office and they will arrange an appointment for you. If there is something more urgent or private, a senior mem-ber of staff will always be made available to see

you. Thank you for your continued support.
