Parliament

• The national legislature of the United Kingdom, made up of the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

• Parliament is the British version of Congress.

• The head of an elected government; the principal minister of an a country.

• Many countries today have Prime Ministers, it is a similar position to the U.S. President.
