The Walking Dead  continues  to  fascinates people all over  the planet. Strip edition has already 

reached  a  three‐digit number,  the  fourth  season of  the  series  is over  (now need  to wait until 

October to the beginning of the fifth), and Telltale Games continues  its award‐winning episodic 

adventure series, whose second season is just starting it heats up. After quite good, although a bit 

slow  introduction to the new season, she's A House Divided, the second episode of the second 

season  of  The  Walking  Dead  games  and  things  are  slowly  returning  to  their  place. 

 

New group, new adventure, new problems

All That Remains , the first episode of the second season, gave us a brief hint of what was to come 

during this season. Somewhat slower pace that is mentioned episodes had not liked the individual 

players, but it certainly is a logical sequence of what will be modeled on the first season, definitely 

culminate  at  the  end  of  the  season.  This  is  already  evident  in  the  second  episode,  which 

immediately "hit the head".   

When it comes to the story itself, in the A House Divided episode does not have too much ado. The 

story picks up where she  is from All That Remains stopped, and stopped at one of two possible 

choices, which is a small Clem had to do (no, we will not spoilati what it is ‐ play a game). Small 

Clem  joined a new group of survivors, but during their  journey towards safety coming and new 

troubles. New problems for the party which will bring Clementine pridružilla constant panic and 

uncertainty. Although ubiquitous, zombies will not pose a major problem for the new Clementine 

group, but will, just like in the comics, the threat of reach of other survivors. First of all, A House 

Divided  is  a  new  super‐villain,  who  will  definitely  disturb  the  team  plans  the  poor  who  are 

struggling to survive and greet the new day, and not to be eaten or converted into zombies. This 

episode will present a more detailed William Carver, the villain who is not a member of Clementine 

groups, which could most easily be described as a combination of the Governor and Negana series 

and comics ‐ everyone who read comics or watch the series, all will be clear, and I will certainly 

recommend to others to give a chance to them).   

When it comes to characters, A House Divided corrects errors of the previous episodes and detailed 

introduces us to the rest of the team and their motives, and return to the  individual characters 

from the first season. Better we learn about Rebecca, Alvin and Carlos, Sarah and Luke, who in a 

sense  begins  to  change  Lee  in  a  friendly  and  fatherly  role  towards  small  Clem,  who  is  also 

characterized by the great way that shows her growing up in any gambling situation.Although she 

is only 11 years old, Clem  little  longer helpless girl. Now  is considerably grown, responsible and 

courageous. Do not hesitate to kill zombies, directly or when sneaking.Although it is quite serious 

and Clem now occasionally "dropped" and the occasional joke during the fight with the zombies 

like "my son is the bigger zombie" .. But this episode is anything but comical. Mistrust, tension and 

panic  constantly prevailing among  the gang, and  the  relationships among  them are  constantly 

strained and on the verge of bursting, and Carver will refer  further mess. Here are represented 

classic  The Walking  Dead  Tricks  and major  premise  that  reads "none  of  the  characters  is  not 

safe." Just  like  in  the  comics,  the  series and  the game,  just when you get  together with  some 

character, it befalls the fate just so beautiful.This is a game where there is no "Hepi Ending". It all 

boils down to the lesser of two evils, and that this time the evil manifested unhappy fates of the 

characters, who will end his career before they seriously know.   

The  story  and  screenplay  are  certainly  commendable,  just  like  the  dialogues  that  we  have 

available. With this episode, 400 Days episode, which normally represents a link between season, 

finally gets its meaning. This short (about 2 hours are required for its completion) and very brutal 

episode brings  several  shocking  and unforgettable moments, but  its  value  certainly  lies  in  the 

excellent characterization.   

Never closer to an interactive movie

The Walking Dead series of increasingly approaching real interactive movies, and this is confirmed 

by this new episode. Gameplay mechanics are not overly changed, and so we again expected to 

turn research (but to a lesser extent than in the past), line of dialogue and Order interactive action 

scenes, which in this episode actually record number. We can not but recall those good days and 

the first episode, when we marched with Lee Everett numerous locations, explored them and solve 

interesting puzzles. The puzzles, though simplistic, are still there, but not so often we have a "real" 

control over the characters, because the game is packed with interactive scenes. The game literally 

throws of interactive animations in dialogue with characters and returns back. There are not many 

places to explore. But luckily, all this enormous amount of QTE scene remains in the shadow of a 

very good dialogue and choices  that are placed  in  front of  the players. The decisions we make 

during these episodes have serious consequences for the continuation of the story, especially due 

to the fact that most of them do not give a positive outcome. So this episode will certainly play 

more times and see all the possible outcomes that change the flow of the story and precede the 

next  episode,  which  will  probably  be  even  more  serious  and  brutal. 

One of  the  few  criticisms addressed  to  this episode,  is about her weight. Specifically, A House 

Divided  is quite easy episodes and almost does not give us a serious challenge. All  the  tension 

comes from our decision, and we killed some of the zombies would have to have serious problems 

with motor skills.   

Of polishing LEVEL

Viewed  from  a  technical point of  view, A House Divided  is  a  very polished  game. All previous 

problems, such as recoil during action scenes, are solved perfectly. This is the first episode so far 

where you will not run into similar problems. The graphics in the game operates cleaner and more 

fluid animations, especially those relating to mimic though it is a cel shaded graphics in which such 

which  is not overly  important.  Soundtrack  is  also  great,  starting with  very  good music,  to  the 

excellent voice over, which of course we have to mention always good Michael Madsen ( Reservoir 

Dogs , Kill Bill ), who lent his voice to the main villain Carver (such roles him pretty good standing , 

is not  it?). Overall  audiovisual experience  further  contributes  really  great  gloomy  atmosphere, 

which radiates this episode, and the only drawback when it comes to the technical side of the game, 

concerns  the  sometimes  lengthy  load  within  the  game. 

 

ONE OF THE BEST EPISODE SO FAR!

Although the second season of The Walking Dead started pretty lukewarm, A House Divided things 

back on track. In fact, it is one of the best episodes so far, and dynamics, tension and uncertainty, 

arising from the really tough decisions that are placed in front of the players, definitely assure us 

that in front of us a very interesting and intense season, which could overshadow the first . When 

going over the third episode?
