TRANSCRIPT
Stay ConnectedAt the heart of compassionate care is dialog and communication between clinical care providers, physicians, patients, and patients’ families. The Vocera® Communication System restores the human dimension to healthcare by allowing care providers to spend more time at the patient’s side or working in real time with their peers.
The Vocera Communication System is ideal for hospitals or anywhere that mobile workers need to stay in contact while keeping their hands free to perform their jobs. The Vocera System has proven to improve staff communication, productivity, and teamwork by enabling immediate communication among care teams.
Wearable, Instant Voice CommunicationAt the cornerstone of the Vocera Communication System, the Vocera B3000 Communication Badge has been designed from the ground up to specifically meet the requirements of healthcare professionals. Using the hospital’s wireless network, the System and Badge enable instant voice communication controlled with naturally spoken commands.
The B3000 weighs less than two ounces and can be worn on a lanyard around the neck or with a universal clip attached to apparel. This portability allows caregivers to easily stay connected wherever they go, and keep their hands free to perform their jobs.
Designed for Hospital EnvironmentsWith a highly durable design, the B3000 is built to withstand the rigors of the workplace, and consistently performs in demanding hospital environments. Four microphones and Acoustic Noise Reduction (ANR) improve the ability to communicate in noisy environments.
Restore the Human Dimension to HealthcareWhen caregivers have the B3000 Badge, they’re not only able to increase the speed of communication, but they can devote more time to patient care activities, enhancing the caregiver experience and driving better patient outcomes.

The Vocera Communication SystemThe core Vocera Communication System consists of two key components: the Vocera System Software that controls and manages call activity, and the Vocera B3000 Communication Badge. Together, the Vocera System Software and the Vocera Badge, allow users to instantly communicate with others throughout a networked building or campus environment. Optional Vocera Telephony Solution software enables users to make and receive telephone calls directly from their Badge through the PBX. Advanced system integration allows for critical text, alarm and alert messages to be delivered directly to the care provider’s Badge.
