With a renewed sense ofpurpose and a zeal andurgency to get the job done, we embark on this vision of secur-ing our beautiful property on El Camino Real. Running with the Vision, our theme for this cam-paign, captures the essence of what we are doing and how.

As a church family, we all sense that this is God’s time for us and we are so ready to rise up and take the challenge. Every great endeavor requires every member to give of themselves and even, at times, go beyond their potential. God is on our side and with us as willing vessels, He will perform miracles. We expect it!

SPECIAL FEATURE Throughout the weeks of “Running with the Vision;” Sunday worship services will include a special feature. The personal testimonies of persons who love the church and are committed to our fu-ture will be given.

Roger Souders, SpiritualEmphasis Director, isscheduling the testimonies.

These testimonies will give a good cross section of the convictions and emotions our people have about our minis-try, to our church body, and the surrounding community. You will want to hear each one, and we ask that you take time to encourage each person who gives a testimony by expressing to him or her your appreciation.

LEADERSHIP TEAM Together We Work to Supply Every NeedOne of the finest features of our “Run-ning with the Vision” campaign is the eager participation of our people. We enjoy our work and do our best when we feel a real part of what is going on. Summarized here is a por-tion of the organization and brief look at the duties.

Dr. Stephen Johnson No effort will enjoy complete success without the whole-hearted backing of the pastor. Pastor Johnson has al-ready shown that he feels this effort is our top priority. He will lend the in-fluence of the pulpit through the 156 weeks of the program and be the keynote speaker at our “Running with the Vision” banquet, Sept. 20th at The Grand Tradition in Fallbrook.

continued from page two

What an exciting time! What a sense of vision and purpose! What a mo-ment for Life Christian Church to run with the vision and break the finish tape victorious.

“Write the Vision; clearly inscribe it on tablets, so the one who reads it may run.” Habakkuk 2:2. The vision that God has given is what keeps a local church pressing onward to-ward the goal. The vision we see for our church is one which is withoutboundaries - we are praying that God will enable our church as never before to reach out into our commu-nity to touch lives and nurture them as they become part of our family of believers.

In reaction to the growth God has blessed us with and in preparation for what is soon to come, we are preparing for the future. In fact, the future is now! Through our “Running with the Vision” capital campaign we can supply the support necessary to secure our beautiful new building without interrupting our present ministries. God has poured out His grace upon us in giving, and He is also able now to make His grace abound to us that we will have an abundance for the good work which He has called us to. As we cheerfully give, stretch out and sacrifice to meet the goals He has set before us, He will be faithful.
