So what seems to be the problem?- Despite the desire and popularity of living in single and multi-family dwellings

in Créteil, France, many people are unable to economically afford housing. By discovering new ways of designing, solutions can be generated for this housing problem.

-   Two Issues –

- 1.) the lack of affordable housing for students and low-income families in Créteil, France

2.) the abundance of shipping containers that are considered non-reusable

The Design Proposal -

The shipping container module home design would provide living accommodations for students, low-income families, and those who would like to live smaller and more economically.

This design would react to the current problems of reuse, sustainability, and financial struggles in the area as well as the over abundance of empty shipping containers available.
