Transformation of the World”

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2017 HERO CENTRAL A GREAT SUCCESS

Hero Central VBS 2017 was a huge success and I think one of my personal favorites. Each night we were blessed beyond measure to have the food donated and served to feed our youth and get them fueled up for an adventurous evening. The children were excited to learn about David, Abigail, a young Jesus and The Beatitudes, and they did an amazing job in relating to and learning from these stories, told by Lesli Reeves. The music was fun filled and they enjoyed performing for everyone on Thursday at the Finale! A BIG THANKS to all those who came and enjoyed the show. Lesli is amazing and worked through Wisdom tooth surgery to teach our young ones these moves and songs. Jenny Senn is truly a Discovery teacher and each night she had the youth excited about what they would be doing next. They did some really amazing things and Jenny is an amazing teacher! Crafts were a huge hit this year, and thanks to Lynn Mohler for the patience it takes to create! The super hero capes looked spectacular on stage!!! Bridgette Bouknight had the job of Recreation Leader and had the youth laughing and playing the best games each night. I really enjoyed hearing all the laughter coming from her classes. To all the faithful volunteers that came in and helped decorate, feed, clean up, shuttle groups and just be wherever they were needed, I want to say THANK YOU!
