Ever since the start of EFET, the cooperation with ETCSEE has been invaluable to run the debate about the needs and challenges of the CEE and SEE wholesale energy markets and to interact with our (new) members and the key players.”

Why attend
With 17 years of experience and endorsed by EFET, ETCSEE brings you a level of quality and expertise no other event in the region can. Relevant topics, in-depth knowledge, behind the scenes insights and number 1 discussion and networking forum.
After Prague (2013) and Budapest (2014, 2015) ETCSEE is heading to Bucharest. We receive a lot of local support, with AFEER as one of the initiators. With a lot of developments going on in Romania, this is the right time to head to Bucharest again.

The programme
POWER TRADINGIf you are trading in Eastern Europe, specialist knowledge of these fragmented markets is essential. Different rules apply in every country and the way markets in SEE and Turkey are evolving, requires our attention. Where we see mergers of power exchanges in Western Europe, the SEE region is launching several new exchanges. Is there a way to join forces and make the market easier to access for new entrants?
MORE GAS?The security of supply issue has made gas increasingly important in the region. There are many new pipeline projects, LNG entering the region and interesting discussions about the location of new gas hubs. Time to get an idea of the big picture and what this could mean for gas traders!
INNOVATIONAnother key pillar of the discussion in June, will be to assess how the energy landscape is changing, also in the rest of Europe. Which business models work and which innovative ideas are applicable to the trading business?
