A career in tennis has never been easier to achieve with an Undergraduate Certificate in Professional Tennis Management (PTM), from

coaching to directing a facility to court maintenance. At UCF, the Rosen College of Hospitality Management houses the Professional Tennis Management Undergraduate Certificate Program, developed in collaboration with the United States Tennis Association (USTA), in order to develop the next generation of tennis management leaders. Any UCF undegrad student can earn a PTM Undergraduate Certificate!

PTM CURRICULUM

1. HFT 2005 Introduction of ProfessionalTennis Management (3 credits)

2. HFT 3357 Sport and Club EventsOperations (3 credits)

3. HFT 3384 Sport and Club ManagementEnterprises (3 credits)

4. HFT 3940, 4941 and 4944 Internship (1credit per internship course; 1 internshipis required per semester for the PTMUndergraduate Certificate)

5. HFT 3670 Hospitality and Event RiskManagement (3 credits)

The Professional Tennis Management (PTM) Undergraduate Certificate requires earning the full 15 credits from the courses listed below. The PTM Certificate can be attached to any UCF undergraduate

About the USTA The United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus, located at Lake Nona in Orlando, Florida, features more than 100 courts (a mix of hard and clay), houses the USTA’s Community Tennis and Player Development divisions, and is home to the UCF men’s and women’s collegiate tennis teams.
