2. Keep your homework on your desk. If you do not have your homework, you need a sheet of notebook paper.

3. In your VOCAB section on the next open page, head it with today’s date and title it “ABRA VOCABRA LIST 6”

4. Remember: you need 3 columns that take up the entire page – WORD, INFERENCE, DEFINITION

spring iReady test & FMPA #3. Everyone needs a laptop.

• Students who are NOT done need to complete the test

• Students who ARE done need to complete the practice

Fire Safety

You may or may not got the message you had homework due today from last week. If you have it ready, take it out now. If not, make sure you have your extra sheet of notebook paper.

In at least 3 complete sentences, what are 3 things that your family has planned to escape your home in the event of a fire. If you do not know of a plan, make a plan now. Take this seriously.

• The card you are holding has information regarding a person involved in the Triangle Factory Fire Tragedy

• Read over who they were, how old they were, what they did, and any other information that is revealed on the card.

• On the page you set up for your journal entry, write at least 5-7 complete sentences (using at least 2 Abra Vocabra words) describing what you think life was like for this person: how they lived, what they did for fun, etc.
