About the author

Hamza Baig was born in Pakistan inSeptember 21, 1999.Although he grew up in

Canada and then Saudi Arabia. He is a

loving sibling to three! He is 11 years

old now that he wrote this first story. H

always wanted to be an author. He wrote

this story because he strongly opposes

Racism and believes that everyone is

created equal. He also thinks that in thi

world of cruelty, there are also warm-

hearted people!

The Three horses

There was a small town in London. It was

very beautiful and dainty. A farmer fromfar away came to settle in the town. He

was very kind and nice to animals and

people in the town. He had three horses.

One white as snow , one brown and one

black ,as if someone had rubbed coal on

him. So one day a man from the kings

castle, came to purchase a horse for the

prince. He searched all the town ,but he

couldn’t find any farms. Then his eye

caught a very beautiful farm . It was full

of animals and green vegetables. He wentthere to see if there were any horses, and

then he saw...

  There were three horses. He’d

probably wouldn’t like the black horse,

neither the brown one. He asked the

farmer, for he could buy one. He told him

“The white horse is mean to people and

animals in the town, maybe the black

horse is the one you are looking for”. He

became surprised ,and we went back. Onceagain another man came to his farm . He

also wanted to buy one of the horses. The

farmer told him about the white one , so

he tried the brown one. When he took him

,he wouldn’t eat or drink any thing.After several of months the brown horse

died. And after some time ,the farmer

became ill and sick.

  He freed both of the

horses. After twomonths , the white

horse died ,for he was

the oldest on of them

all. And so there was

one horse left , the

black one. People threw

garbage, tomatoes,

rocks and sticks on the

poor fellow. Afterseeing all this bad

stuff at the horse. A

boy named Bill came to

help him . Bill was a

very kind boy.

He gave him carrots , apples and

lots off stuff. When the black

horse became big. His color wasas bright as the moon. His tail

sparkled like snow. He also won

couple of races at the Horse

race. Every time he went out,people were jealous of him. Bill

was like his old farmer. And most

important ,” That's why they say

“Never Judge a book by its

Cover”.
