The Victorian grandeur of The Barony is a spectacular contrast to the clean lines of Strathclyde’s Technology and Innovation Centre.
Dating from 1889 this former church – whose south front is inspired by Dunblane Cathedral, with a floor plan based on the Cathedral in Gerona, Spain – is a splendid neo-gothic confection in red sandstone on the edge of the Merchant City, in Glasgow’s historic heart.

“I’d just like to say thank you very much for the support that your team provided. The [Barony] was stunning and the catering was fabulous - lunch in particular was remarked upon by our delegates as one of the most delicious, plentiful and well-presented that they have experienced. The AV support provided prior to the event and on the day was spot on. MINISTRY OF DEFENCE

“The Black Tie Dinner at the Barony was very well organised and the service of the waiting staff was very good. The food itself has received many compliments. The building itself is a magnificent venue for a formal dinner. ACADEMY OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES
