What is the Texas STaR Chart?
The Texas StaR chart stands for School Technology and Readiness, known simply as the STaR Chart.
The chart is a self-assessment and is utilized by campuses and school districts. It is aligned with a Long-Range Plan for Technology.
The STaR Chart’s purpose is for planning, budgeting, and evaluating technology progress.

Levels of Progress Levels of Progress The Texas STaR Chart has four levels
of progress. They are divided into: Early Tech Developing Tech Advanced Tech Target Tech.
In order to meet the guidelines of the Long-Range Plan for Technology and the No Child Left Behind Act, we need to increase our school’s achievement level to that of Target Tech.
