The main age of a horror audience

The main age of the people that would be watching a horror movie would be people aged 15-25. the reason for this would be that they are now old enough to be watching horror movies as they usually have an age rating of 15 or higher. These horrors would attract this type of age group as they would be maturing as a person and would be able to which these films as they would have different emotions and personas. This would be a way for these people to get thrills and a adrenalin rush form being scared which is one of the main reasons why horrors are so popular. This is also influence the way that they would react to similar day to day.

The gender if the

The main gender of the people that would males as they are going to be into getting scared a more than more than females as, the stereotype is that men are trill seekers. This would also include men being more violent and would be into watching violence such as blood, violence and gory content more than females. With this the main type of audience would be males aged from 15-25.

The different audience

The mainstreamers are the people that would go and see the film first and then tell everyone else about the film. As the film is being recommended through the word of mouth there would be more people what would want to go and see the film. Other types of people that would go and see films would be people going on first dates or with friends which would also be a great conversational topic.

The class of people that horror films would be aimed at would be the working class, the reason for this would be the prices of the horror tickets in the cinema and the DVD copies of the film. A further reason for the film being targeted at the working class would be that the working class is most of the population. where as other class such as the higher classes stereotypically would be into the romance and action films.
